Calista had been up in the tower for about an hour now, enjoying the beautiful night sky. She was leaning against the railing, singing to a song that had been stuck in her head.
"This path is like a loaded gun, but what's said is done, you don't have to say a word..." She trailed off, gazing out at the stars.
Wow, its gorgeous up here... She thought as a slight breeze blew back her hair.

Draven had been longing to get away from the ambush of the castle. It seemed everywhere he went, he was greeted by obnoxious, eager people. He longed for a quick escape, and so decided to head up to the astronomy tower. Drave pulled back the door and walked up into the night sky.
"Woww..." He breathed, his head quickly tilting straight up to look at the stars.

Calista heard someone behind her and turned around to see who it was. Her eyes were met with a boy walking up; by the way his head was tilted towards the sky, she figured he probably hadn't noticed that she was there. Instead of startling him, she turned back around and continued to gaze out into the night sky, playing with her dog tag necklace in her hand as it hung around her neck.

Draven quickly put his head back down, as to see where he was walking. The last thing he wanted to do was trip over something. As he tilted his head back to it's normal position, he noticed a girl leaning up against the railing; alsot looking up into the night. He bit his lip for a moment, and decided to make conversation.
"Hello..." Draven said quietly, beginning to walk closer to the girl.

Calista turned around, her green eyes meeting the boy's as he walked up to her. "Hello." She smiled and dropped her necklace out of her hand for it to fall back against her shirt.
"Name's Calista Martin." She said, extending a hand.

"Draven Slayter." Draven said warmly, a small smile creeping up on his face. He shook the girl's hand and let his drop back down to his side. "So what brings you up here tonight?" He asked, moving so he was leaning up against the railing.

Cali turned back around and returned to her spot against the railing, "What brings me up here..." She thought aloud. "Well, Im new and never been up here before so theres one reason." She smiled. "How bout yourself?"

"You just summed it up." He laughed lightly, twisting his head to flip his hair out of his face. "It's a great view though, huh?" Draven stated, turning his face back to the black night sky.

Calista smiled softly and picked up her necklace in her hand again; intwining the chain in her fingers. "Yeah, its like an escape from school and everything else for that matter." She said, turning to look at him, "So Im guessing your new also?" Cali asked.

Draven nodded his head; he understood that. "Yup, Ravenclaw." He replied, stating the house he was in. "What house are you in?" Drave asked, shoving his hands down into his pockets.
