Thirrin stood by the punch, not wanting to take any. Was she even allowed to be here? Her dress was black, and hugged her too tall body. She didn't want or need to talk to anybody. She was new, nobody knew her anyways.
Still, she wondered what it would be like if somebody did notice the tall, skinny twelve year old standing by the punchbowl, and trying to look like she was having the time of her life.

The girls seemed really nice, and the guy, well, he actually seemed pretty nice too!
"Who are you?" I was mainly asking the guy, but if the girls wasnted to tell me more about themselves, i wouldn't care. I needed new friends!
