"I know you didn't." I say soothingly "What has he told you to do?" I ask

"i'm doing just that," I say wiping away my tears.

"Good." I say then sit down next to her. "Maddie, i need to tell you something." I say quietly.

I freeze for a moment, but I take her hand in mine. "I'm glad you told me," I say hugging her.

"So, how long have you known?" I ask searching through my purse.

"My father was one." I start "The gene was passed onto me, but has been dormant for years." I say "Next full moon will probably be my first transformation."

I hand her a piece of chocolate,"i'll be there."

I stand up,"Do you think I care?! I'm not gonna let you do this alone," I said putting my hands on my hips, "Besides, I live for danger," I smile.
