Applying

[Lily Evans]

Nervously, Lily apparated with Serry to St. Mungo's. She was here to apply for a job, and with a nervous sigh, walked over to the reception witch.

"Uhm... Hello, I'm here to apply for a job?" She said to the witch.

She looked up from her papers, reached under her desk, and pulled out a clip board of what seemed like dozens of papers.

"Thank you." Lily smiled politely, and took the stack. Turning around, she sighed, and looked down at all the papers.

I come down the hall when I spot Evans, Crap, I think to myself.

''Soo, Lil.' i paused. 'What paper she give ye?' i asked sitting down with me papers.

[Madeline Speare]

"Hey Serry," I wave. "What are you doing here?" I ask Evans.

[Lily Evans]

"Looks like all of them." Lily sighed, looking at all the papers she was handing. Looking up from the papers, she saw Madeline. When she saw her, her face seemed to sink and get darker. "I'm applying for a job, what are you doing here?" She asked, trying to keep calm.

''Everytime.' i said jokingly. ''Hey Madds.' i said as i started to fill out me papers

[Madeline Speare]

"I work here," I tell her coldly,"So what are you doing here?"

[Lily Evans]

"You have got to be kidding me." Lily muttered. "Oh joy, looks like we may well be working together." She smiled sarcastically, and started to fill in the application.

''Maddie.' i said. ''Leave it.'

[Madeline Speare]

"Your working here?" I say inogring Serry. "Never would have thought, I always thought you were too good for this place," I say my voice dripping with sarcasm

'Maddie.' i warned. ''She is allowed to work here. Drop it.' i said. ''Wait, do they need me birth certificate?'

[Madeline Speare]

"I'm not saying she's not," I tell Serry,"I'm not sure, I dont think so," I tell her about the birth certificate

[Lily Evans]

"Too good for this place? Well I thought this was one of, if not the best Wizarding Hospital in England, are you under the impression that I'd travel to Australia, or Russia, or somewhere to find a better hospital to apply to?" Lily asked.

[Madeline Speare]

"Are you sure you want a job here?" I ask,"This is not a place for the faint hearted." I tell her, "I"ve been working here since 5th year, so if you do apply," I say a smirk making its way across my face,"I'll be your superior,"

I groaned and suck into the chair, and started to fill me papers out again

"Well then, I'll be learning from only the very best won't I?" Lily said sarcastically, not letting any weakness show.

[Madeline Speare]

I grin,"That you will,"

[serenitysmith]

"Weakness?' i said then looked up. ''Friends that argue.' i smirked

[Lily Evans]

"Well you know Madeline," Lily started, smirking. "Maybe since you've been working here for so long, and are so experience, maybe I could apply as your intern, you know, follow you around, see if it's really what I want to do."

[Madeline Speare]

I'm about to aopen my mouth when a woman comes in screaming "please, my son please help!" A woman cried.
I rushed over. "What happened?" I ask
"H-He was playing with his dad's wand and and," she sobbed unwilling to go on.
"Miss, I can't help your help unless you tell me what happened." I say looking at the toddler in her arms.
"It went off," she said,"His wand, it just,"
"Exploded?" I answered for her. She nodded.
"Shit," I mutter taking her son from her, "Do you have the wand?" I ask she holds it out,
I turn to Evans and Serry, a serious look on my face as I turn to Evans,"Well you said you wanted a job here, come on,"

''Luck.'' i said.

[Lily Evans]

Lily darted up from her seat and placed the stack of papers down. "You're the one that actually works here, what do you need me to do?" She whispered.

[Madeline Speare]

"I thought you wanted to work here," I tell her kicking open a door. "You cant walk until you crawl," I tell her,"Grab the wand," I say.

''Like i said before, Luck.'' i said saluting her

[Lily Evans]

Lily gave a kind smile to the woman and took the wand from her outstretched hand. "Everything's going to be ok, alright?" She said.

"Oh mighty Healer Speare, I have retrieved the wand." Lily muttered, looking down at the wand. The tip was barely intact with the rest of it, there was a large burn mark towards the bottom of it, and pieces were fraying off.

i looked at the wand from me chair, and looked at it wide eyed

I glare at her,"This is no time for sarcasm Evans," I say motioning at the child on the table, his face was scorched and his eyes white closed. "Okay," I tap the wand with my own,"This should tell us what spell he used and how to help him,"

''Is he sleeping?'

[Madeline Speare]

"I wish," I mutter,"Serry see that green bottle over there?" I say pointing at the cabneit[sp?]

"Not unless im colour blind.' i said going over to the cabneit
