Briar sat on one of the few benches in the courtyard. The sun was out and it was bright, but it was still chilly. She rested her chin in her palms and looked around the courtyard. Nothing had changed from this place and that she was thankful for. It was a perfect get-a-way for her right now. "Perfect," Briar said with a small yawn.

I grinned, floating on the grounds, knowing that I was just a light shimmer with the sunlight and I wouldn't be stared at for being a ghost. Laying down, still in the air, next to a bench I sighed and started humming lightly to 'Cassie' by Flyleaf, not noticing anyone else around.

Briar heard humming of one of the songs she knew and started to sing the chorus softly, "Do you believe in God, Written on the bullet?
Say 'yes' to pull the trigger. Do you believe in God, Written on the bullet? And Cassie pulled the trigger." She looked around to see who was humming it and froze when she seen Riyann, only as...a ghost. Ri-Riyann?

I continued humming the song, hearing the lyrics sung lightly beside me and I looked over. It was Briar, we didn't know eachother that well, but I'm sure the way I was now might have been a bit surprising. I saw the way she froze looking at me and sat up in the air, a bit used to the stare. "Hey?" I whispered lightly, stopping with the humming now.

Briar shook her head and relaxed a little, "Erm..hi," She said with a small wave of her hand. She hissed lowly in pain then looked up at Riyann, "Erm.." She put a hand through her hair awkwardly and smiled slightly.

I shook my head. "Briar, I'm only dead." I said, scrunching up my nose at how that sounded. "Sorry, but I'm here so just pretend I'm real." I said, feeling how awkward it was, but waved back too when she waved. "I'm not really good at this." I said, referring to how I was trying to make it all better.

I nodded. "That I do. Flyleaf's actually one of the few muggle things I've heard of until this year." I said, my mind drifting to Riley because of how he made me know more about it and I remembered that I was dead and frowned slightly, but smiled again, lying through it.
