Draven briskly walked out into the courtyard, looking up at the sky. It was hella cold out, considering he was wearing a huge flannel jacket and scarf. An odd look appeared on his face as he outstretched his hand and felt cold flurries fall on it.
"...Snow?" He asked to no one in particular.

Morgan walked out into the Courtyard, her hands sunk down into her pockets of her heavy plaid winter jacket. Looking around her, she seen a boy who looked a bit confused at the sight of the snowfall.
...Snow? She heard him ask. She walked up to him and spoke up, "Yes, snow would be the white fluffy stuff falling from the sky." Morgan chuckled lightly.

With a quick motion, Drave snapped his head around, recallig his outstretched hand back into his pocket. A girl stood before him, bundled up just like he was, "Thanks for clearing that up." Draven replied with a smirk, chuckling at her joke, "I'm Draven." He introduced himself, considering he had never met the girl.
He shivered at the cold, forcing his hands deeper into his pockets, "It's gettin' awfully cold out here these days." Drave commented as an afterthought.

"No problem." Morgan said, matching his smirk. "Im Morgan." She stated, introducing herself as well. She then pulled her hood up considering the snowfall was increasing slightly.
"Yes it is," She agreed. "But this is kindof what I do, walk around from place to place in no matter what kind of weather." Morgan smiled slighly. Its not like I really have anywhere else to go...

"Well, does a little pioneer like yourself ever take a break and..." Draven began, calling her a pioneer in reference to her constant on-the-move routine, "...maybe drink hot chocolate?"
The small fountain was in front of the two. Drave motioned for her to come join him in sitting down on the side of it. He was a pretty friendly person; always conversing with people he had just met and whatnot. Obviously, today wasn't any exception.

Morgan cocked an eyebrow at him slightly, "Pioneer...?" She asked, Well theres a first, never had myself be classified as a pioneer before. She thought and chuckled lightly under her breath. "And yes, boy who doesn't understand snow, I love hot chocolate." She grinned and went to sit down next to him.
Morgan loved to socialize, and meeting new people provided company and she liked it. Today was going to be no different then any other day, or at least it seemed that way.

Draven laughed lightly at her comment, "You can call me Draven." He retorted, raising an eyebrow at her. 'Psshh. I do to understand snow.' Drave argued with himself, chuckling on the inside.
Taking out his wand, he waved it and made two cups of hot chocolate appear. He gripped one and handed to the girl. Drave took a sip of his own, looking out into the Courtyard and seeing the flakes begin to cover the grass.

"Well then you can call me Morgan." She said, smirking at him and accepting the hot chocolate from him and taking a sip.
"This might be a stupid question but are you new around here, I don't remember you." She asked, "Although it could be because I've just gotten back from a six month absence." Morgan stated, looking over at the boy.

He laughed slightly again, and took a drink from his cup, "Yeah, I've definitely been here for a while." Draven explained, "Your absence probably had something to do with it."
Drave pulled his legs up, sitting indian-style on the fountain side, "What made you decide to leave? You just get sick of looking at the same damned castle?" He asked with a slight chuckle.

"Ohh. Yeah probably, I've been seeing a lot of new faces around here." Morgan told him, brushing a piece of hair out of her face with her free hand. "Yea the castle I guess the castle had a little bit to do with it but it was more for a change of scenery. Just to get away, ya know?" She explained.

"Well, I would assume so, with you being gone so long. We get a new student practically everyday." Draven explained to the girl, taking another large gulp of hot chocolate, "It's practically insane."
He understood what she was talking about; change of scenery was good for everyone once in a while, "I get that, which is usually why I go to Hogsmeade every once in a while. The castle becomes too much and I'm sick of looking at it."

"Yeah it is, I don't really remember it ever being this crazy." Morgan said, shrugging her shoulders slightly and looking around at all the people moving about to get inside and out of the cold.
She swirled the hot chocolate around in her cup a bit and took a drink. "Im not even sure if this is what I want, you know? Im just not sure if here is where I want to be but then again, I can't think of anywhere else I really could be." She explained.

Draven drained the remainder of his hot chocolate, touched his wand to the cup and refilled it. "We get a lot of transfers and new kids these days for some reason. It's odd." He chuckled.
"Well yeah, I don't think people ever know what they really want until they go out looking for it." Drave explained, nodding his head in understandment. That was his philosophy anyway.

Morgan nodded and downed the rest of her hot chocolate, setting the cup down next to her. "Yeah, it is kinda odd." She agree'd.
She fell silent for a moment, then spoke up again; "Story of my life." Morgan told him and smiled lightly. "I've been to so many places out looking for a place where I feel like its where I should be and I keep ending up back here." She shrugged and looked up at Draven. "Maybe this is where I should be."

Draven touched the tip of his wand to her cup. It refilled and he handed it back to her.
He took a sip from his cup, nodding his head at her statements. "Well, I'm just trying to get through this place as of right now." Drave explained, making hand motions as he spoke, "School work and all of that is what I'm trying to focus on. And then after all that, I just wanna roam around 'till I figure out what I want to do with my life."
Taking another gulp, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "Ah, but then again, you've got to think of this," Draven started to say, "It may feel like a home here now, but I might not next year. After next year though, you've got to call somewhere new you're home." He said with a frail smile.

Morgan took the cup and smiled at Draven, "Thanks." She told him. She thought about what he had just told her.
"I know what you mean, I've kindof already been there done all that you know? Im working on trying the whole school thing again because it didn't work out so well the first time around." She paused. "I tried the roaming thing too, and Im always led back here....maybe for a reason." Morgan smiled and looked up at Draven.
"I'm not much on thinking of next year and years on, Im more of a live today and just whatever happens happens kind of girl." She told him and took a drink of her hot chocolate.

He nodded and took a sip of his own Hot Chocolate, greatful for how warm it tasted for such a cold day.
"Yeah, I get that..." He nodded again, still listening to her speak, "Have you figured out that reason yet? I mean, why you're always led back here?" Draven asked her, chuckling under his breath for a moment. This girl had a pretty interesting view on life. Drave found it refreshingly original, other than a lot of the other people here. Their philosophy was birth, work, school death.
That lifestyle clearly didn't appeal to this girl, nor did it to Draven, "Well, I guessed you would probably say that, considering you've been out there and seen the things you've wanted to see. I haven't, and I suppose that's what I'm sort of looking for in the future." He smiled at her, taking another gulp of the hot liquid.

The more Morgan thought about the things they were telling eachother she came to realize more and more how much this boy was like her. "You seem to get everything I say...Im not used to that." She smiled at him. Morgan met very few people who she found that understood her and her outlooks on life.
"Yeah, I learned a lot from going out and doing the things I did. Made mistakes, lived and learned." Morgan told him simply and took another sip from her cup.

Draven smiled a little. He was actually understanding what a girl was talking about. And that was definitely a first for him. It was also a first that they happened to be talking about their views on life. Not a lot of girls did stuff like that. Drave found it interesting, "And I'm not used to people actually talking about stuff like this. It's nice to find another topic other than all the cheesy, highschool drama that goes on here." He laughed.
"See, that's what I wanna do. Go out and search for all the things I'm looking for in life. Stumble and fall a little, y'know?"

Morgan looked up at him and smiled lightly, she knew exactly what he was talking about because she had already been there done that. Ever since she'd been back, talking with Drave made her realize besides Blaise, she never really had a friend like this, she kind of liked him, even though she had just met him she had shared more with him then over half of her friends. "Yeah I know what you mean, its nice to have a real conversation that doesn't lead to that stupid everyday drama."
She nodded her head and took a sip of her hot chocolate, "And I completely understand what you mean, I've done my share of stumbling and falling." She laughed.

"Tell me about it!" He laughed, nodding is head at her. Finally, someone to talk about real things with. Most people talked about their drama, and what was going on in their social life. He considered that wasting time, as opposed to talking about things that mattered. Draven felt like he knew this girl all his life, in any case they seemed pretty close in the way they thought and acted. Not really knowing it conciously, he kind of liked her for it. He didn't realize it at the time, however.
"Well like I said," Drave chuckled, "I haven't really had a chance to get out and find things out on my own yet."

Morgan nodded her head, "You will eventually, there will just be that one day where on a dime you'll decide you've had enough of here and want to go there but don't really know where there is yet and you'll go searching." She said, knowing how that sort of thing went.
Finishing off her hot chocolate, Morgan stood up and went to pick up some snow that had gathered on the sidewalk. She attempted to make a snowball but it turned to dust in her hand. Damn...time for plan B. She smirked to herself, taking her wand out of her pocket and making one the magic way. Holding it behind her back, she turned and grinned at Draven.

He nodded his head, downing the rest of his hot chocolate, "Well right now, I see this place as sort of somewhere to be before I go out there." Draven retorted. Drave watched her with curious eyes, wondering what she was doing. As she stooped down and gathered snow, he had a pretty good idea of what was going on. Her smirk, flashing wildly on her face indeed confirmed his suspicious. Hurriedly, Draven ducked behind the other side of the fountain, gathering snow and smushing it into a sloppy snowball. "Now... Take it easy there, trigger..." He laughed to her from behind the structure. {aww, c'mon! do we HAVE to have a snowball fight? }

Morgan laughed as she held her snowball behind her back and smirked as she saw Drave duck behind the fountain and gather one for himself. "Accio snowball." She whispered as she now had his sloppy snowball. Morgan ran around to where he was behind the fountain and chucked the one she had made at him, hitting him in the side.
"Got you." She smiled at him.

Draven piled his arms on top of his head and face, shielding them from what he knew was coming. After the snowball had hit, he quickly gathered another small pile, made a snowball, and threw it at Morgan. Drave laughed as it hit her in the shoulder.
"Got you too." He grinned, jumping up and sprinting out from behind the fountain.

"Hey!" Morgan exclaimed as she quickly brushed the snow off her shoulder and ran after Draven. She finally caught up to him and tackled him, resulting in them both to fall into the powdery white snow. "Hah, got you again." She smirked at him.

Drave laughed as he fell almost face-first into the snow. He covered his face with his hand as he hit the ground, "Ouch..." Draven chuckled, it obviously not hurting too badly, "You're pretty vicious for someone whose smaller than me."

Morgan thought for a moment and figured the snow was probably starting to soak into his coat and got off of him, standing up and extending a hand to help him up. "See, I may be vicious, but Im not cruel." She smirked.
