[Riyann Servansikk]

I laughed and did a little happy dance. "I win." I started singing and stopped.

[Arden Patricks]

I shake my head at her amusedly. "And you're very modest about it, aren't you?"

[Riyann Servansikk]

I stuck my tongue out at her and stayed silent, trying to win the contest I 'silently' put on.

[Arden Patricks]

I nod, mildly unnerved by her lack of vocal response. And... now you're very quiet. Okay then.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I smiled and looked away, turning back I played a random game of cherades, not sure what I was trying to say.

[Arden Patricks]

I give a very slight, nervous laugh as she turns away, then turns back towards me and starts gesturing. Might as well play along, I shrug, even if I don't know the game. So I tap myself twice on the forehead, then move my hand wave-like in front of my face, followed by a very pronounced nod.

I stopped suddenly and looked confusedly at Arden. Damn it, now I want to talk. I thought to myself and gestured that I was shooting myself.

[Arden Patricks]

I frown confusedly as she makes an odd gesture in return, and open my mouth to ask if hers means something... then smirk and merely tap myself twice on the forehead again, raising my eyebrows and tilting my head to the side.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I shook my head and layed out on my stomach, giving up on the cherades.

[Arden Patricks]

I smile slightly, then shrug. "So what exactly were we doing there?" I ask. "I was just signaling nonsense... you?"

[Riyann Servansikk]

"Neh, cherades." I said and decided I should explain. "Muggle game." I added, "You're supposed to act out what you want people to guess. Really annoying actually." I said and sighed.

[Arden Patricks]

"Oh, I've played that," I nod. "Not sure if it's just muggle.... Aren't you supposed to tell people when you've started playing a game with them though?" I ask amusedly.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I shrugged. "Maybe, maybe not." I said and laughed. "Well, from how I knew about it, it was only a muggle game, but who knows now?"

[Arden Patricks]

"Well, some of my friends that I played wit with are muggle-born, so maybe they were the ones who suggested it," I shrug. "Then again, it's a pretty simple concept, and you'd think most cultures would come up with the idea even if they called it something different."

[Riyann Servansikk]

I nodded with a slightly shrug. "One never knows these days."

[Arden Patricks]

"Or... anytime," I shrug, thinking that's kind of an odd statement.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I nodded in agreement and layed out on the ground more comfertably. "So what do you have for homework that silly me is more important than?"

[Arden Patricks]

"Ugh... everything," I mutter. "Too much reading to think about... some spells I have to practice but I don't remember what they are and hopefully I remembered to write them down." I shrug. "I did work all morning though... so I'm just extending my break, really." I smile slightly, knowing I should get back to work but that I'll never keep my mind on it anyway.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I shrugged. "That made me feel so unwanted." I said and laughed. "Just used."

[Arden Patricks]

"Aw... you're not being used," I say, grinning. "I really should get to it, and I would if you weren't so fascinating."

[Riyann Servansikk]

I laughed and waved it off. "Here do some whilst I become quiet and then stop and we'll chat again." I suggested and laid back and looked up at the clouds.

[Arden Patricks]

I hesitate, eying her bemusedly, then shrug and crack open my Potions book.
Stir the mixture counterclockwise....
Okay, not that one. Defense?
Of all the Unforgiveables, the Cruciatus Curse....
I slam that book closed quickly and make a face at Charms before opening it up. Apparently the face managed to subdue its evil tendencies, however, because I find that not only do I understand this one and not have any objection working on it, but it's actually mildly fun. So I work on an essay for a while, glancing up occasionally to see how Riyann's doing.
"Having fun there?" I ask after a bit without looking up, deep in a paragraph about the similarities between various mood-altering charms.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I shrugged and decided to voice it since she hadn't looked up. "Sure, just so long as you finish something before I become annoying again. Need some help with potions?" I asked after voicing everything else. "It's my best class." I added.

[Arden Patricks]

"No, I think I can manage it," I mutter, frowning slightly at my essay. "Just nothing that I can do now, because I need to actually make a potion...." I look up and smile slightly. "Thank you for the offer though. And I'm just about done with this paragraph here, then I can stop being boring."

[Riyann Servansikk]

I laughed and layed back down again. "MKay Captian."

[Arden Patricks]

I nod again, returning to my essay and scribbling out a half-thought-out ending. Fix it later....
"So, Riyann," I say when I finish and set it aside. "How have you been while I was away?"

[Riyann Servansikk]

I laughed and shrugged. "I've been okay, side effects from being ignored." I said jokingly.

[Arden Patricks]

"There are side effects?" I ask, raising my eyebrows. "Such as what?"

[Riyann Servansikk]

"Not being perfect." I said and laughed. "Being annoying." I said and smiled widely.

[Arden Patricks]

"So you get ignored quite often then?" I ask, raising my eyebrows. "Along with everyone on the planet... including celebrities. So what about people like that, then, who get tons of attention and turn annoying because of it?"
