Time to Long (Riyann)

[Tyler Sams]

Walking out to the Courtyard nervously, I looked around. It was completely deserted, but that may be because it was dinner time right now. Sitting down I waited for Riyann, I was going to tell her now.

[Riyann Servansikk]

Earlier I'd gotten a letter to meet that Tyler Sams kid out on the courtyard at dinner, so skipping outside I went and found him, wondering exactly what he wanted. "Hiya." I said and waved, coming up infront of him and sitting down cross-legged infront of him. "What do ya need?" I asked, skipping right to the point.

[Tyler Sams]

Seeing Riyann coming down towards me I almost decided against it. "Hey." I mummbled, not sure how to start this out. "Uh, we need to talk, as weird as that sounds." I said, sitting forwards a bit and looking at her briefly. "Not quite sure how to say this." I said and stopped again, freezing, not knowing in the least how to say it.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I chuckled nervously. "That does sound a bit weird." I said, agreeing with him, deciding if I should wait patiently or just get up and walk away. After a few moments of silence more he spook again. "Well just say it already." I said, getting slightly annoyed when I knew I shouldn't be. "It's not like you're going to say that you're my long lost twin brother." I said and recieved more silence.

[Tyler Sams]

I looked up at her curiously, wondering if she knew anything about it, leaving the two of us in silence. "Actually, um." I started but got cut off by her.

[Riyann Servansikk]

Looking back at him in shock I put my hand up when he started to say it. "Are you serious? And how could you possibly even prove it to me?" I asked, getting up now. "It's not like anyone else knows, how could I possibly believe you[/b]?" I asked, backing up a few feet, but not turning away.

[Tyler Sams]

I was shocked from her firstly interupting me, but accusing me of lying and then starting to walk away it was worse. "Riyann," I started, but changed my way of going at it. "I am not lying." I said with venom in my voice. "And at least one person else at Hogwarts knows." I added, but held back the name. "And I know you know them, that you would trust them." I said. If she doesn't already know then when she knows that Riley does and has for a while she won't be trusting him much longer. I thought, wondering how bad I may be screwing this up for her.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I froze in midstep. "Who are you talking about?" I asked, I barely knew or trusted anyone here. There was only one person that I really truely trusted and I wouldn't believe that he knew. "I can't believe you." I said, feeling a large lump forming in my throat. "Riley wouldn't lie to me about this." I said, taking another careless step backwards, almost falling down.

[Tyler Sams]

"Riyann," I said, shaking my head no, lying for the better. "No, not Riley." I said and gestured for her to sit back down, hoping she'd stop asking about who it was and just trust me.

[Riyann Servansikk]

Watching him I fell to the ground instead, hoping he'd explain further, but not really hearing him or believing him. Riley wouldn't do this. I thought, staring down at my black and tattered skull shoes.

[Tyler Sams]

Just looking at her I wondered myself how I'd explain it, I'd expected something, well, a lot different, why would I lie to her, she'd end up finding about Riley knowing at some point. "I'm sorry." I said, starting to get up myself and started walking away, looking at her again, she looked so helpless and lost.

[Riyann Servansikk]

Looking up I saw Tyler start walking away. "Wait." I whispered quietly, not wanting to be alone right now. "Where are you going?" I asked an bit louder. "Don't leave me right now." I said, focusing back down on my shoes and thinking deeply, not sure if he had even heard me.

[Tyler Sams]

Barely hearing her voice I looked down again and saw her looking at me before looking down again. Sitting back down I kept a bit of distance between us and watched her carefully. "Hey, I'm here." I said quietly.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I looked up slightly and saw him sitting a ways away and scooted closer to him, resting my head on his shoulder. "I believe you." I whispered, feeling happy about having my brother there and feeling confused and somewhat mad.

[Tyler Sams]

I almost jumped away from her. It was a different reaction than what I expected or was even used to. But I smiled when she said she believed me and put my arm on her shoulder, looking down at her as I rested my head on hers lightly.

[Riyann Servansikk]

I closed my eyes, thinking more about what just happened, still wondering who he was talking about earlier. Yawning a bit I focused more on my shoes and felt his arm around my shoulder and his head rest gently on mine. Closing my eyes slowly I felt over come with tiredness. Letting out another yawn I hugged my arms around myself to block out the small wind that just started up and scooted just a bit closer to Tyler.

Riyann yawned several times and I wrapped my arm around her tighter against the wind. Looking down at her now she seemed so peaceful and happy.

Smiling I fell asleep against his shoulder, ignoring the wind.
