I laugh, racing to keep up with Poppy, who is sprinting in front of me.
"Oi! Poppyseed, wait up!" I laugh, watching a blur of red hair dash around in front of me.
I was looking after Poppy for the day as a favour to Rowan.
She laughs, turning around and sticking her tongue out at me,"Catch me if you can!"
"Your gonna fall!" I laugh and sure enough, racing over to a tree, she trips over a root.
I gasp slightly, walking over to her."See, told you."
She pouts for a moment, before spotting a beetle crawl across the grass."Oh! Look! I'll name her Karl."
I laugh, picking her up and setting her back on her feet,"Sure, but first let's get you cleaned up, huh Poppyseed?"

I saw Poppy so I walked over to say hi, "Hey Poppy! Maddy right? Havn't seen you in ages." I said.

"Been okay." I smile, watching Poppy walk over to a nearby tree,"Oi! Whatcha doing there Poppyseed?"
"Putting Karl in the shade, she doesn't like the sun." She replies, sitting down at the trunk of the tree.

Oh yeah, I'm real happy. I think bitterly, but don't show it.
"I keep going," I smile weakly, heading over to Poppy,"This little hell raiser keeps me on my toes." I laugh ruffling Poppy's hair.
