Memories past

I walk through the courtyard, remembering being out here when I was younger, still a student here.
With my brother and my sister, and my friends.
How things had changed since then.
People had moved on since then, thinking I was dead and moving on.
Some of my own friends were dead, doing Order work, just like Fabian and I should have been.
Things weren't the same anymore.

i jump out of a tree and almost hit a guy "oh sorry" i say and get back up

[Gideon Prewett]

I jump about a mile, clutching my heart. "Jesus-..."

[Laken Maywood]

"didnt mean to scare you, i didnt see you there otherwise i would have jumped in a different direction" i say appalijeticly(sp?)

[Gideon Prewett]

"It's fine. Fine. I just wasn't paying enough attention."

[Laken Maywood]

"na i wasnt paying attention" "oh sorry i havent introduced myself, im Laken Maywood"i say "whats your name"

[Gideon Prewett]

"Gideon Prewett. Can call me Gid if you want. My nephew calls me Gee-gee, but you don't have to call me that either."

"prewett, i know that last name.... oh your mollys brother" i say realizing who he was " i remember when i met her i dont think she remembers me though" i say

[Gideon Prewett]

"Yeah, I'm Molly's brother. Want weird? I'm Molly's dead brother."

[Laken Maywood]

i prod him in the shoulder " you dont seem dead to me" i say

[Gideon Prewett]

"See, that's what I thought. I thought maybe my friends and family might be happy to see me. But you have no idea how hard it was to convince them I'm not dead when I'm standing right in front of them. Bloody nightmare."

"if my brother came back id be so happy and he wouldnt have to convince me he was alive" i say

[Gideon Prewett]

"I kind of hoped that's how it would be. But I had to prove it."

[Laken Maywood]

" sorry to hear that" i say "but to make you feel better i think your you and not a figment of my imagination" i say

[Gideon Prewett]

I give the thumbs up. "Good. They almost had me convinced I wasn't real for a minute."

i laugh "that'd be weird if you wernt" i say " so do you go to school here"

[Gideon Prewett]

"No, graduated couple of years ago."

[Laken Maywood]

"oh, what house were you in" i ask

[Gideon Prewett]

"Gryffindor. You?"

[Laken Maywood]

"gryffendor" i say "means im brave" i say

[Gideon Prewett]

"And a trouble maker." I laugh.

[Laken Maywood]

"yep, trouble maker, although i dont do as much trouble making as i used to" i say

[Gideon Prewett]

"How come?"

[Laken Maywood]

"i dont know " i say "not much time for it" i add "thinking about other stuff"

[Gideon Prewett]

"Like what? If you don't mind me asking."

[Laken Maywood]

"my brother" i say "and my little sister" i say "i miss them very much" i say "my sister wont talk to me anymore, she wont talk to anyone" i say

"Why?" I ask, I couldn't imagine how hard it would be if Fabian and Molly weren't around.
Mind you, that's exactly what was going to happen.
When they went away and left me here, to go to dangerous things for the Order where I wouldn't be able to help them.

"she was bitten by a werewolf, she feels she is a danger to everyone, shes 10" i say "and my brother died almost a year ago " i say feeling guiltey all over again "i could have stoped it" i say to my self " i was there and i didnt do anything " i tell myself

"There was nothing you could have done, probably. My brother was right next to me when I died, and there was nothing he could do at all."

"i could have done something maby if i didnt follow him he would have been alright! " i say "they saw me and i blew his cover they captured him i was there i saw it happen and i didnt do anything!" i rant to myself "they had to take him from me. why?"
