Annoyed, Bellatrix sat down on a bench in the courtyard and pulled her parchment and quill out of her bag. They had been assigned an essay for charms earlier that day, and she was not looking forward to writing it.
Several times she was about to place her quill on the parchment and write, but all the comotion in the courtyard had made her forget what it was she was about to write.
Pausing to glare a couple giggling thrid years, she shoved the parchment and quill back into her back. She would do it later.

Bellatrix was a little more than taken aback at this girl's comment. No one, no one spoke to Bellatrix Black like that. And she was not about to sit back and let it slide.
"Excuse me?" She said, raising her eyebrows. Bella stood up quickly, to look the girl in the eyes. She held her wand tightly in her hand by her side, as if daring the girl to make her any more mad.

"Well of course I'm annoyed by them, bloody hufflepuffs." She cursed, narrowing her eyes at their retreating backs. "Salizar Slytherin had it the right way... pure only." She muttered, more to herself than the girl.

Bellatrix changed her gaze from the Hufflepuffs, to the girl. Tilting her head to the side, she asked, "And what did you say your name was?" Obviously the girl was a Slytherin, but Bella wanted to see just how much information this girl would be willing to give.

When Bella heard Madeline speak, she gave a fake gasp and said "Me." She crossed her arms, her wand still tight in her hand and clearly showing. "If it isn't the little blood traitor, and for a moment I thought I would have decent conversation." She shrugged. "I assumed wrong."

"I didn't know they let scum back in either, but there you are." She smirked. "Why of course I'm happy to see my old best friend, my wand has been needing a little practice." She said, twirling her wand between her fingers.
"No, of course not." She said to Ebony. "Stay and watch the show."

Quickly, she then put a protego charm over herself. "Locomotor Mortis!" She added. "I was going to build my way up to 'Crucio' but we could skip ahead if you would like." She said, smirking.

I walk in and see the hexes flying across the room. I sigh and sit down. "I see we still have our talent Bella" I compliment her with a smile. Rather or not she would remember me I wasn't so sure.

I stood up "Sure thing" I said with a smirk. I pointed my wand at the girl and stunned her. I then turned to Bella and got her down. "Good?" I asked with a smile and crossed my arms.

"So far, you've only used childish jinxes, I'm not afraid to use the more... dark shall we say." She said. Bella pointed her wand straight at Madeline. "Crucio!" She shouted.
