I sat in the courtyard. It was empty apart from me. Rain was pouring down, soaking me to the skin. I didn't care. As far as I was concerned it was reflecting the way I felt. And the only thing I could think was 'She loved the rain.' Jo used to love the rain, so much. If I could cry, I would. Luckily for me, I couldn't. I was lost without her. Completely and utterly.

I watched as Mika sat down on the other side of the courtyard. I couldn't see much through the rain, but he looked sad. More than sad. He looked broken. I walked other to him cautiously. "Mika." I called softly.

"It was my fault." I whisper. "It was all my fault. She-...he-...he told her, she could have freedom but either her or me, had to die. She chose herself."

"It is my fault." I say stubbornly. "I told her to find a way out, she did. I didn't realise, I didn't think death was the only way out. But-...it's a life times service or death with Voldemort, isn't it?"

"She promised she'd come back." I say numbly. "I must have been the last one she spoke to and she promised she'd come back to Hogwarts and find me. She said 'Don't wait for me. I'll be a while' and then she was gone."

I rub his back soothingly "Maybe she knew her fate Mika, she just didn't want you to stop her. She wanted to protect you." I say.

I had heard the news. I looked out into the courtyard and saw Mika. I couldn't help, but feel that some of the blame was on me. I had tried to help them both, but I failed. I felt a tear slid down my face. 'Please Mika, don't hurt yourself,' I thought.
