I continue to wave my wand back and forth, to no effect. The Professor told us our assignment 20 minutes ago. I happen to be the only one left that hasn't made any progress. "Uhh!" I mumble angrily. I whip my wand behind my head, then forward with more force than necessary. My wand flew accross the room and hit someone in the head. Bursts of laughter shoot out all around me. I stare in shock, waiting to see if they are okay.

I turn round, something having hit me in the back of the head, and see Snape, looking at me anxiously.
I snort with amused laughter and pick up his wand and hand it to him.
"Having trouble, Serverus?" I ask politely.
I had no problem with being polite to him, and James and Sirius weren't around to make sure I wasn't.
