I dip my pinky finger into the bowl once again, extracting enough ice cream to finish the smiley face on the countertop.
Well at least you were good for something I chuckle slightly at the purple concoction in the shiny orange bowl.
"What do you think Freddy?" I look down at the smiley face (A.K.A. Freddy), "Do you like being made of sugar violet ice cream?"

I walk past a girl that seemed to be by herself, but she obviously talking to someone. Zoe and Ashlyn giggles slightly. "Umm... are you okay?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

I turn in my stool, hearing giggles.
I grin at the little girls and then look up at who, I presume, is their mother.
"Oh I'm grand." I nod enthusiastically, "Just talking to my new friend Freddy." I wave my hand to the counter, to Freddy.
"I do not suggest the sugar violet ice cream." I add in a stage whisper.

"Why not?" Ashlyn asks with a tilt of her head, always asking questions. "Hello Freddy?" Zoe adds with another giggle.
"I see, well I'm Shelby Chou." I say with a faint smile towards her. "And nice to meet you too Freddy."

"Well..." I say to the first girl, "If you eat it then it would be like eating Freddy's cousins." I nod solemnly and then grin again,"Freddy is very glad to meet you all as well.... Oh... and he says my name is Dahlia."

Ashlyn stares at her, shaking her head a bit, while Zoe just laughs. "That would be awful...""That it would be." I add with the same smile. "Nice to meet you too Dahila. Aren't you in my Astronomy class?" I ask her with the same tilt as Ashlyn. Everyone understood where she got that from.

I bite my lip slightly, "Er... Yeeaah." I say thinking about the empty star chart sitting on my bed.
Hmm... I should probably get started on that...

"It's okay. I'd prefer that students would at least show up for class. I'd be grateful for that." I say with a sigh, tossing a couple of my curls behind me. "So, what house are you?"

I instantly smile. "I was in Ravenclaw too, the keeper for the team." I sigh and look down at my crescent necklace. "No, we're supposed to have about forty kids, but there's only maybe eighteen of you."

"Really? That kinda sucks." I cluck my tongue, "Well I guess they're not gonna be- Hmm... What would you need astronomy for?" I ask before thinking.
Hmm... Maybe for teaching astronomy...
My eyes brighten when I remember her on the team, "Oh yeah... You are so much better then- " I cough slightly, "Er... Well we could really use you at the post again."
