"There was this family I had found through an adoption program." I tell him. "But then Riyann, the girl that was in there when you first walked in, made me relize how much I wanted to keep him." I say "I had just told them that I was going to keep him yesterday. They understood. Seemed a little happy for me." I finished with a smile.

I walk to the door and keep it open for him seeing as he was holding Jake. "Oh wow..." I muter looking at al the baby things around. "You have any idea what we should get?" I ask under my breath when Joe walks in next to me.

I feel like I want to cry. I turn to him and lay my head on his chest tryign to find comfort, careful not to squish Jake just looking down at him.

I blink back the tears and nod my head, but stay close to him. I take a few deep breaths and bit my lip. "Give me a minute then we'll go and look through so stuff, okay?" I ask him.
