Madison sat near the window of the ice cream parlour, picking idly at her ice cream. Her eyes were glossed over as she stared out of the window, at a spot of brick on the opposite building. People were streaming past outside, desperate to get out of the cold wind, clouding her vision. She flinched slightly as the handle of the plastic spoon broke off in her hand and stared down at her ice cream as if she'd never seen it before. "Bollocks," She mumbled, throwing the handle of the spoon down onto the table top, and deciding to pay more attention in future.

"Another reason I'm not too fond of plastic eating utensils," Perry notes, holding out another spoon to her."But, do with what you have I suppose."

"Ah, thank you," She smiled, taking the spoon from him, "Very kind."

"I do try." He nods,"Don't think I've seen you outside of school much Professor."

"Doesn't feel like I've left in years," She smiled warmly. She was still getting used to being referred to as professor, having only taken the job a couple of months ago. She gestured at the seat opposite her, "You can sit if you like."

Perry slips his hands into his pockets, contemplating on sitting down or straying along outside. He nods after a moment, taking a seat across from her,"Professor Graye?" Perry asks after a moment,"May I ask you, why you chose to teach Muggle Studies?" He asks, trying hard to keep his distaste of muggles out of his tone.
