I walk into the ice cream parlor with Mia holding my hand walking behind me. It was about 6:00 and after ice cream i was going to take her back to Yumi ans Siruis' place. We'd done a lot of things so far, we ate a huge lunch, gone swimming, i jynxed the squid so she could see it, we went and got her hair done like mine, and then spent a good time laying gazing at he clouds. But now she wanted some superman ice cream. We go up to the counter and order. When they hand us our ice cream cones she looks at me with her big blue eyes. "thanks ma"
"your welcome mia"
it still made my heart ache every time she called me ma, bu it was the best feeling ive ever had.
We go and sit down as we start eating our ice cream.
"hey, ma, youve got some ice cream right there" she said wiping some on my cheek
i laugh. "and youve got some here" i said wiping it on the tip of her nose.

Mia looks at the new lady and stares at her. She nudges me."ma, whos this?"
"oh, sorry baby, this is Angel..she's my friend"
she stares at her a little more and then whispers to me. "ma, i like Angel"
i laugh. "thats good"

Mia chims in. "and a Huffy cuz they are the best in the whole wide would"
i laugh. "yep, thats right" i say ruffling her hair.
