I look up at him with my blue eyes, that were shining in the dim lighting. I give him a light smile, before the waiter leaves.
"I'm not that beautiful. I just look good in red that's all." I say with a girly giggle. I clasp a hand over my mouth in shock. "I only giggle like when..." I say trailing off, thinking that it was way to early for him to ask me a certain question.
Whenver I giggle like that, those are the nights that both Logan and Nick proposed... I think to myself, trying to doubt what the tendency result was of that one minor detail.

Jay laughs when she giggle and grabs hold of her hand from across the table. "Don't worry, I think it's cute." He chuckles keeping a hold of her hand. "But seriously Shell, it's not just the red. You are beautiful. I'm gonna get you to see that soon to." He says.
After he finishes talking Jay see's that she still seems in thought. "You okay Shell?"

I look up breaking the concentration. "Oh...no it's nothing." I say with a faint smile, only a couple seconds later fading.
I glance down and notice he was holding my hand. All of this is so familiar... He wouldn't ask me. would he? I go back to thinking with an expression that looked like I was glaring at his hand.

I sigh. "I...I was just thinking about my past that's all. With proposals..." I say turning a bit red as I said it, still trying not to look him directly in the eyes. I wanted to, but I didn't want to scare him away thinking that I wanted to rush our relationship.

He sighed, looking down for a moment wishing she would look him in the eye. He looked back up at her, "Shell," He started, "I love you. I know that. You know that. The thought of us married sounds awesome." He says, "I'd rather a proposal be perfect and something you'd never forget." He says "I want you to be ready."

I look up slightly, playing with my hands twisting my fingers. "I know you do, it's just all of this reminds me of my previous marriages..." I say to him honestly. I knew I was ready, but I didn't want to push him. After all, we were only dating for a few weeks.

Jay grinned and nodded again to the waiter. "That's good, because that's exactly what I got you." He chuckles as the waiter brings out a beaquet of both flowers. The waiter holds it out infront of Shelby. There was a ring in one of them. Jay was originally thinking of making it a promise ring, but now he might change his mind. It did have a nice big diamond on it.

"Well, you know you could wear it here...." He says and slips it on her middle finger and holds her hand in his for a few moments. "Or here if you'd like." He adds slipping it back off and onto her ring finger, with a smile.
