Sally walked into Eyelops Owl Emporium, she had been wandering around Hogsmede and decided to stop in.It had been such a long time since she had a pet or an owl to say the least. Her last owl was unfortunately killed by her mean brother, ever since that she didn't want to get an owl afraid that it was going to die at the hands of her brother.

I walked into the shop in search for a pet. Having a large family can be fun, but I'm always over shadowed. Everyone knows my sister, but what about Hayley? No. I'm always left alone, and alone is not fun.

Sally had been to distracted by all the owls that she didn't realize that someone had been standing not to far from where she was.She had run into her with out realizing she had lost her balance causing thing around her to fall to the floor.

I kneeled down to help pick up the stuff. I was used to not being noticed and being run over like that. That really had to change.

She saw that it was a girl that she had ran into, she quickly started to pick op the things that were scattered around the floor, carefully placing everything where it belonged, she finally stood up and got a good look at the girl she appeared to be about her age maybe younger. "Um...sorry about that I was distracted by all the owls and I wasn't watching where I was going, sorry."She said to her.

I stood up, and said, "Its okay really." I said. 'It happens all the time.' I added in my mind. People these days have no respect untill the last moment.

She looked at her like it was the craziest thing she had ever heard, how many times had someone ran into this poor girl? She thought to herself. "Oh...sorry again though....I'm Sally Marter by the way."She smiled.

"Yep. I'm in Ravenclaw." I said. This was the first time someone had to ask, and not just asume because they knew my relatives.

She smiled finally someone else that was in Ravenclaw,to bad for her she wasn't...she was sure she was placed in the wrong house, but everyone says that the Sorting Hat is never wrong. "Really that's awesome what year? Oh I'm in Slytherin 6th year."She told her.

"I'm a 5th year." I said. This was probably the nicest conversation I've ever had with a Slytherin. What was so awesome about being in Ravenclaw anyways?

She smiled, she was right when she thought that Hayley was a bit younger then her, hopefully she didn't believe the stereotype of all Slytherins being mean, because she was sure she was the nicest Slytherin she knew. "So do you have any siblings?"She asked her as she began to look at the owls.

"I had a sister." I said sadly. Some people had a knack from bringing up the topics you don't want to salk about. Sally seemed to be one of them.

She sighed quietly, who could of guessed that she used to have a sister, she knew better then o talk about siblings, she felt bad and wished she kept her mouth shut but was done was done."Oh,I'm sorry to hear that,"She said trying to find something else to talk about and quickly change the subject.

I quickly think of a new topic and ask, "Do you like cheese?" I always asked that if I had nothing better to say.

I laughed and said, "I couldn't agree more. I'm a cheese hater. It smells weird. Cookies are so yummy though." I said.

"Of course! Eating them plain is over rated. Rainbow sprinkles are the best." I said.

She nodded."Yes,that's how I always eat mine."She smiled, all the talk about cookies was beginning to make her hungry. "So anyways, have you come here to get an owl or some other kind of pet?"
