"Well the do say opposites attract and all that." She pauses, then raises an eyebrow,"Really? Wow, wouldh ave have thought, with 'them' getting her parents and all..."
She can't help but laugh at her cousin's outburts,"Why do I have to hold Jack down? It's not a proper thing to do Nate, licking people," She shakes her head,"Never mind, inside joke between me and a certain blonde,"

He sticks his tongue out at her again, "Or what Mrs?"
"Hell yeah, opposites and stuff," Then he shrugged, "They're not all bad, Rory. Some of them are alright."
He grinned, "Cos I want to be the one to cut out his knee caps and as my kindred spirit you should want to help me?"
"Pfft, so what if it's not proper, who wants to be proper anyway? You sound like Claire, Rory."
"Oooh, inside joke...explain it to me?" He grinned.

"Or I'll have to cut it off then," She smirks slightly.
"I know they're not all bad, but the stories you hear an the things you read about in the Prophet, it just protrays them as such..monsters." She shudders slightly at the thought.
She smiles slightly,"Fine, if I must. Couldn't get MJ to go along with it? God knows she'd jump at the thought," She laughs.
"That 'cos I taught her everything I know," She grins proudly then waves a finger in her cousin's face,"Nope, no can do Natty."

"There are more important things ye could cut off!" He declared, then said loudly for the rest of the store to hear, "But no Rory! You cannot cut that off! You're my cousin, woman! It's wrong!"
He shrugged a little, "Guess so, but hey, just people and all."
"Thankee Rory," He grinned then shrugged, "Not talking with MJ. Had a fight in St Mungo's."
"Sad sad sad," He shook his head, "Corrupting my little sister to normalness...it's just appauling. Aw...why not? I want to know too! Pleeeeeaaaaaase?"

She gasps smacking him,"Nathan Grant Dawson! Behave yourself while we're out in public! Your not four anymore you twat!" She hisses.
"Yeah, people with different veiws on things," She mutters, then raises a slender eyebrow,"Oh? You two never fight, what happened?"
"I am not corrupting, I am leading her in the right direction, not the 'let's go do stupid and dangerous things' path the resto fo you numbskulls are on."

"I want to be four!" He threw his head back and yelled, "ABUSE! ABUSE! SHE'S TRYING TO MAKE ME BE NORMAL!"
He shrugged, "MJ and Charlie never fight either but look at 'em now. Times change, Rory. It's just a fight is all."
"Awwwww...but-but-but she might end up normal!"

She smacks him again,"Act your age!" She hisses.
That was the only thing about Nathan she disliked, he constantly acted like a child.
"Yes, well we had a fight as well," She sighs running a hand through her hair,"She's not the same, she never use to fight with us, least not like this."

"But my ages sucks..." He whines, "Who wants to be 22? Not I! You're so maternal, Rory, gosh."
"You too? Oh Bob. This is most definitely not good. I feel most bad now. I think I'm going to go and apologise."

"Course I am, you noob! Have a son don't I?" She says, smacking him in the back of the head again."Please Nathan, not in public."
She frowns slightly,"No, we haven't done anything wrong, we have nothing to apologise for. She's the one acting like a brat."

"No one likes me in public..." He chuckled, scratching the back of his head.
"No, no, I definitely feel bad. I'm going to say sorry and make things right again. We all should. It's better to work it out, even if we have to admit defeat."

"Course not, it's better to try and lock you away in a cage," She teases then stops.
Rory sighs running a hand through her hair, letting it fall into her eyes,"Fine." She replies."I hate it when your right Nate."

"Mehmehemhemhemeh..." He muttered, bobbing his head from side to side, "No cage can hold me."
"You just can't handle it," he grinned weakly, trying to inject some humour into the situation.

"One can dream," She replies then laughs weakly,"Course Nate,"

"You dream about locking me in a cage? You are one weird woman," He laughed, then nodded, "Yup, course. You know course is a word in french? But it's got an s on the end. I don't remember what it means though."

"Says the man who wants to be a woman," She counters, laughing lightly."Been to Paris lately Natty?"

"I do not want to be a woman, it simply would not matter to me either way," He grinned, "Why yes, Rory, yes I have. Twas there before I came back home."

"Sad, sad man-woman Nate." She laughs,"Heard Paris is nice, MJ told me so herself." She smiles theb slips her hand into her purse and pulling out a card,"Here, before I forget. Need you to do me a favour. Go to this adress and pick up a package, it's for MJ and that baby of hers."

"I'm not sad, I'm very happy. So happy I crap fucking rainbows," He beamed, "MJ been to Paris? Oh Bob. That's new."
He squinted at the address, then looked at her, "Can't read, please explain further."

Rory grimaces at her cousin's metaphor while wrinkling her nose,"Interesting way to put it Natty."She nods,"Her and the boyfriend ran off to Paris for a couple months to work on their realtionship, says she loved it." She smiles weakly,"It's a baby crib, for that little one of hers. Five months will fly by and she'll have no bed where to put the little darling."

"Lovely way to put it, I feel," He grinned, then pulled a face, "I've decided I don't like the boyfriend anymore. But as long as they're happy then whatever."
"Baby crib...uh-huh..." Then his face creased slightly, lips tightening in an attempt to keep in a laugh before he snorted loudly, "Little darling?"

"Oh dear, you haven't insulted her boyfriend in any way have you? God knows how crazy that girl is about him," Rory replies, then reaches out, smacking Nate round the side of the head,"Oh grow up Nathan! A child is a blessing, you wouldn't understand seeing as you don't have one of your own."

"....no..." Nathan glanced around shiftily, "Meh, he started it. No, wait, Charlie started it and then I took Charlie's side. It's Charlie's fault, not mine!"
"I don't want to grow up! I don't want children! The concept frightens me!"

"Right, blame someone else." She mutters then rolls her eyes,"Well not much we can do I suppose,"
Rory tries to keep a straight face but fails, laughing."Oh wow Natty," She muttters, shaking her head back and forth.

[Nathan Dawson]

"It was his fault! No, wait, it was the other his's fault...the boyfriend one not the cousin one...I dunno, I didn't start it anyway," He protested then shrugged.
"Don't 'oh wow' me, it's perfectly rational to be afraid of...that."

"Going to tell me what he did or you just going to keep rambling Nathan?"

"Second one?" He suggested, then shrugged, "You seen Charlie when he's around Hunt? Seriously, thought there was every chance he'd spontaneously combust. Lot of mutual hatred there, and I had to stick up for Charlie really, him being family and all, and then Charlie got owned anyway, so...now I dislike Hunt."

"He's not that bad, Nathan."

"No, I don't think so either, but now I'm involved on the Charlie-doodle-side. And I do think that they were unnecessarily cruel to each other."

"Suppose not, according to MJ they've done worse."

"Oh dear..." He twitched his mouth slightly at the corner in a sympathetic grimacing gesture.
