The shelves upon shelves of books that seemed to have the threat of falling under the immense, constant pressure of volumes upon volumes that hadn't been thrown haphazardly on the tables were in an order that only the shoppe keeper knew by heart. So many interesting titles, so many things he could learn from only one of the volumes that he might pick out from the mess. He loved this store, absolutely adored it since it put most of his paranoia at ease. He would learn how to protect himself better this way, and that was always a plus.
Taking a random volume, loving the heavy weight in his hands, he browsed through it. Interesting. But not for today. Putting the book back on the shelf, he continued his browsing, ever searching for something to really catch his interest.

Hearing the insult of 'face sucker' didn't phase him at all, as he continued to browse though the books, still looking for some intelligent reading. Idly listening to the conversation around him, he halfway snorted since it was a Gryffindor who was stupidly wandering around trying to insult people. When one he recognized as a Hufflepuff entered and started speaking to the 'idiot' as he had deemed him, he continued to selectively listening, too engrossed in his current book, learning of the magical creatures that were known to devour the flesh of men.
His paranoia quiet for once, Rabastan browsed, almost unaware of the other Slytherin's presence. Until she actually associated herself with the Hufflepuff. True, it was much better then the annoying Gryffindor, but all the same. What was happening to the Slytherins now days? How soft was the once proud House becoming? A soft sigh escaping him, he put the book back, needing something a little more dark and sinister to compliment his current mood.

Jerami walked down the Isle towards Rabastan who was thumbing through a book. Jerami decided it would be good for him to reintroduce himself to him. But knowing that he might be turned into a puddle of mud if he stunk up on Rab, Jerami made his steps heavy so they made a loud noise as he walked.

Hearing the footsteps in the background of the idle chatter that seemed to be going on, Rabastan looked up from his reading. He had found a book on some darker spells, and was considering using them on those that seriously thought that they were going to find useless Muggle books in such a store. Of course, looking at the small group that had gathered, he decided that they didn't have enough brains to know that.
Looking at Jerami, who smartly, in his mind anyway, strode up to him and alerting him of his presence. He recognized him as a Slytherin, but didn't quite remember his name nor anything about him at the moment. Caught up in his own annoyance and how to get back at them for breaking up such a serene moment, he didn't think he needed to think of anything but how to get them to shut the hell up in the nastiest way he could.
Nodding a hello, he placed the book back on the shelf, only to pick up another one, seeing if that had anything to pipe his interest. "Good to see someone else here has brains," he said uncaringly, flipping a page. "Unlike the rest of these fools."

Jerami returned Rab's nod glad that he had reconized his foot steps as a way of alerting him. When he finally reached him he grabbed a random book and started looking through it.
"Well what can you expect from the other houses and those who associate themselves with them." Jerami replyed with equal remorse.

Snorting at the comment, Rabastan looked at the other Slytherin who dared associate with the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. "Oh how I do agree. How much more disgrace will our House have to face before it is purged of filth like them."
Hatred, affection, mutual acceptance, all things fickle to his state of mind at the moment. He was trying for the hatred of the others, the realization that yes, he was right. Those of the other Houses were not good enough for theirs. The others were the enemy, perhaps even a greater one then, dare he say the one who must go unnamed? They were, after all, not pure bloods, and to be pure meant strength and strength meant that when war came, they would survive, and the others would fall.
OOC: Gah. Forgive the misspelling of the name in the previous post and the rambling in them. My muse is on a high today. From what I don't know...she's hiding the sugar from me, I know it...

Jerami shook his head and closed his book. A bit of dust flying out of it. "How much more time is always the question. All we can hope is that it comes quickly." Letting his finger glide across the covers quickly scanning the titles of the vast majority of volumes. Then randomly taking one off the shelf.
OOC-Lol don't worry. I'm way worse then you. as you can see ^ but yeah i don't mind. Didn't even notice really. And as for the sugar..More then likly
