I walk along the highstreet with my head down, looking up only often enough that I don’t get dizzy from the blood rushing to the front of my head. It’s not like I have to look out for pedestrians… the place seems almost totally deserted. Very creepy. Where has everyone gone lately? I wonder, absently kicking a rock. And not just here, but anywhere?Sadly enough, it’s not that difficult to list off the people I’ve spoken to in the last year, and even easier to pick out those I consider rather friend-like. And every single one of them seems to have dropped off the face of the Earth. The Porter sisters are keeping to themselves a lot, but they’re still around, I correct myself. And of course I’ve seen Arden and Laken….At this thought it feels like my heart is cracking in half again, but I try not to think about the fact that I haven’t seen Andra and know perfectly well why. Or about the fact that maybe one of the reasons I haven’t seen anyone else is because I really haven’t felt like talking for a while. But I press on. I haven’t seen Rika or Ebony in ages… or that Morgan girl since I met her… Yumi since the mind-hunting party. One of the other guests is dead now and I don’t really know the other three…. And Elena is around, I guess… so that makes her the third. Third person I’ve actually spoken to in the last few weeks.I sigh and shake my head, kicking another rock somewhat more forcefully. Rika had gone off to do some shopping.She had been bored up at the castle it seemed like everyday that had gone by people in the common room,had been disappearing,but she knew that wasn't the case,people got bored and instead of sticking around to hide book like she did,they left the common room in search of things to do.She had been thinking of what to do when she got back to the castle when she felt something hit her.
"Ow!! That hurt,if I was in your way I would of gladly moved."She said quietly to whoever hit her.

I look up in surprise at hearing a voice, realizing eventually that I must have accidentally kicked the rock at someone - and realizing at the same time that that someone is someone I know. She looked up to see Chance,she smiled."Hey, so this is what you've been up to,kicking rocks at people very exciting Chance."She giggled and gave him a hug.
"I know,lets well I've been around visiting my family for a couple of months,but came back a couple of weeks ago...but I haven't been in the common room lately...so yeah any who what have you been up too?"She asked smiling.

"Well eating candy of course,I got a large supply of muggle candy that I brought with me,nothing chocolate of course,swimming,building snowmen and making snow angels,snow is awesome,umm...reading meeting new people...the usual I guess how about what have you been up too,don't say nothing because there must of been something you did."She smiled laughing lightly.

I laugh slightly, mostly at how quickly she talks, and filing away the mildly intriguing comment about chocolate. Then she asks about me... and I'm stuck for a moment, then shrug. "Nothing much... just school. Friend's funeral." I shrug again, partly thinking that I shouldn't have mntioned that, but then again I probably would have had to eventually.

I nod, shrugging and kicking absently at the ground. It's no big deal, I consider saying, then balk at the enormity of the lie. It is, of course, an incredibly big deal.
"So... um...." I change the subject. "I've also been looking after my little sister... trying to teach her to be responsible when it comes to magic." I smile slightly. This is a topic I can talk about.

She smiled,she knew that she wasn't very responsible as many thought she would be which was fine with her."Yup,I'm sure she will,well lets see I have two siblings,a brother and a sister,they're really nice and my parents are really nice as well,when I was visiting them,it was kind of weird since we all had to do certain things around the house,but I'm really happy over there it great."
