Amiee walked down the street at Hogsmead looking around. She saw a few people out and about, but not many. She didn't suspect many people to be out anymore. Things seemed to be getting worse with the war. Death after death, missing person after person. Amiee pulled her jacket closer around her closer, as the wind picked up. As she was walking Amiee lost her blence slightly, having to take a few moments to stay standing. She chuckled softly as she looked down and saw what she had tripped over. Her guide stick that she had lost just two weeks ago. Amiee found it ironic that, now of all times was she to find it. Exactly when she didn't need it. She bent down and picked up. She folded it back up in her hands and twirled it around in her fingers chuckleing to herself.

I shove my hands in my pockets as I make my way down the highstreet. I felt like I'd been out of it for far too long, and maybe humanity had died out in my absence because there didn't seem to be many people about. I'd managed to escape from the house for a bit, hoping I could use the fresh air as a substitute for sleep so I could keep myself awake. It felt like I hadn't slept in weeks. I close my eyes for a moment, before forcing myself on again, accidentally clipping shoulders with a girl standing in the street with a stick, "Sorry," I mumble.

Amiee put her guide stick in her bag just as guy clipped her shoulder. "No problem. Been knocked into worse." She said with a small smile.

"Not today I'd think though," I glance up the near empty street, "Did I miss the apocalypse or something?"

"Thinking the same thing." Amiee commented looking around the street. "Amiee Parker." She said holding out her hand to him.

"She's my my cousin." Amiee says. "Well kind of. Think of her as family. My cousin's Kaleb, Chase, Rory and Perry are her cousins and-..." Amiee stops herself before she starts to ramble. "Yeah you get it." She finished with a small smile.

"Yeah, I get it," I smile slightly, "I suppose you're under obligation to dislike me then, sorry in advance."

"Why won't I like you?" Amiee asked with a raised eyebrow. "You've done nothing to me, and I'm not on the best terms with Kaleb right now so I don't think I'd listen to a damned word he'd say." She said and rolled her eyes slightly "Haven't seen Rory, don't talk to Chase much, Perry doesn't like anyone barely, so don't take it personally." She said as a slight joke.

"No clue," I shrug, "But about half of her cousins don't like me." I laugh slightly, "I haven't met Perry so, I don't suppose I have to worry about that."

"You seem fine to me so far." Amiee said with a slightly shrug. Amiee laughs softly and nods. "I think I'm one of the few that still considers family."

"Relieving," I nod, then smile weakly as I'm not sure how else I'm supposed to be, "Yeah, I've heard about...that."

Amiee smiles at him, but it faulters slightly/ "Family's important. Have to stick with him. I mean I love Perry. I know he'll never say it, but I think he actually likes me." She says with a weak smile.

"There's a difference between family and people who just share blood," I shrug, "But I guess it depends on your background." I smile weakly, "Yeah, probably does."

Amiee smiled. "He agreed to be the godfather." She cuckled. "Blood isn't really why I say that. It's because..." Amiee pauses triyng to think of the right words. "I'm not sure really. He's been there for me through some rough times. I can't just hate him because he get his nose in the air at times."

"The Godfather?" I repeat, before it clicks into place, "Sorry, I didn't know. Took me a while," I laugh slightly. "I guess. I wouldn't really know about the whole blood related family thing," I shrug.
