I slumped back onto the bench.
"I really didn't mean to be malicious," I said, not being able to look at her, "You just have a lot on your plate, if you know what I mean. And I just think your vision is a little clouded by your want for love to replace the love you didn't get from previous relationships."
I buried my face in my hands.
"I'm sorry if I'm being too analytical," I said, "But I think once your mind's at rest about everything else you'll probably think different about 'loving' me."
