I sat on the top of the bench watching people walking around. 'Was it a good idea?' I think to myself. I just wanted something normal, but did I make a good choice.

Matt sat down heavily on the nearest bench. This was a bad idea. He missed home. He missed his family. And he wasn't getting anywhere. He glances around, then realises he isn't on the bench alone, "Oh sorry," He mutters an apology to the girl next to him, "Didn't realise you were there."

"You don't have to be sorry." I smiled. "What are you dwelling about?" I ask.

"Miss home, you know?" He smiles slightly, "What about you?"

"I never really had a home." I say without thinking. "I don't know if I had made the right choice." I tell him honestly. "I'm somewhat living in the past but also living for the future."

"I have some idea what you mean." He smiles sadly, "What choice did you make? If you don't mind me asking..."

"I found something out about him and I don't know what to think anymore." I sigh. "When has life become so complicated?"

"It's always been complicated, it just doesn't seem like it all the time." Matt says, not really sure what to say, "Is it a real bad thing you found out about him?"

Matt shifts awkwardly, that tone scared him. Same tone Claire used right before she made something smash or set off some alarm somewhere just because she was mad... "Well, I don't really know you, so I can't say whether that is real bad or not so much..." He trails off and holds out a hand, "I'm Matt by the way."

"I'm Triela." I look over to him. "Let's use this as an example....if I kissed you against your own free will, but instead of a kiss something that should only be intimate with only the person you chose. So it's that bad." I say softly.

"Oh, that bad." He says, understand, lowering his hand again as it was obvious she wasn't going to shake it.

"Something weak and disgusting as that...is why i switched sides in the first place." I say looking up. "But when I did switch sides the person I miss most died...life is complicated." I laughed. "Enought about me why are you here?"

"Here? Like on this bench? Or like here? Like in this place?" He asks, "Well, I don't suppose it matters, the answer's the same either way. I'm here from Ontario, to find my brother and it's not going so well and it's all rather frustrating and I miss my kids-..." He fumbles for his wallet, showing her a picture of his son and daughter, "That's them, see. Paul who's 3 and Dawn, she's just 1."

"They're cute." I say with a smile. "Brother? I'm guessing a long lost brother doesn't trust you and isn't really thrilled with having their 'new' family just appear in thin air and making room in his life? But that is only a guess."

"Close. I have no idea what he's like or anything about him. I'm guessing he looks a little like me, seeing as me and my sister look a lot alike and as he is also a Turner, I'm guessing we might look a bit similar, but that's speculation. I haven't seen him since I was...4, maybe 5. He was a month old then though. Our parents killed themselves and me and Claire, my sister, got taken away by relatives, but Chris got taken away...into care. He was adopted...by some pure blood family and he's changed his name far too much and is impossible to track, basically."

"Okay, this is the information I know, care to help me out with where to start looking? His name was Christopher James David Turner, in full. He was taken away from Brampton in Ontario in Canada when he was a month old and he was adopted when he was 6, but I don't know who by. That's all I've got. Where do I start?"

"First travel records, then there must have been some adoption papers when he was six and then if you're lucky you'll find him, changing names is hard to track but can be tracked...anything else?"

"I have the adoption papers. Surname of Hunt but all the members of the family are dead. The father hung himself about six months ago, the son was murdered around here somewhere if I'm not mistaken and the mother did herself in not long after that. Which doesn't bode too well for Chris. He's either dead like the rest of them, or out there somewhere, but I'm not sure where to start."

"Well, Hunt was the family name. I don't know if he kept it or not. But yeah, it could be an Ian Hunt, I guess..." Matt says, trying to stop his heart from leaping. They'd had false alarms before after all.
