A letter home

[Lorelei Warren]

Rory clasped the letter tightly in her slender hands.
She had written back home to her husband, saying that's she'd been staying longer then expected and that she might need to send Johnny home.
Maddie, it seemed, needed her a bit more.
Her little cousin, she had grown up into a lovely young lady, as she had always hoped, but it seemed, her past was a bit darker then she had liked.
Jack, Charlie, and Nathan were sticking around as well, god knows they'd need all the help they could get to bring their baby cousin out of her misery.
Rory reached out to a white snowl owl, stoking it soft feathers, smiling slightly,"Hey there." She whispers fastening the letter to it's leg,"I need you to get this to my husband okay?" She says quietly, watching it fly off into the distance.

[Marie Porter]

I walked out of the Post office after sending a letter to mum. i had been sending letters back and forth for a while, i asked how everyone was back home. i wasn't paying attention to where i was walking when i ran into a women." oh i'm sorry, should have been paying attention." i say

Rory turns around, looking at the young girl that had bumped into her, a Hufflepuff by the looks of her robes.
Rory smiles sweetly,"It's alright no harm done."

[Marie Porter]

I smile, "good, cause i don't like harming people." i say "I'm Marie, by the way." i add

[Lorelei Warren]

"Well no one really does." She smiles.
"Marie, lovely name. My cousin's middle name is Marie, well Jane Marie but close enough." She laughs lightly.
"Still better then my name, Lorelei." She pulls a face,
"God awful name, that's why I tell everyone to call me Rory."

[Marie Porter]

"i don't really like my name, but my mum gave it to me so i stick with it, but you can call me Rie or Ria. Jane Marie is a pretty name i like it." i say " i like your name, but Rory is cool." i ad

[Lorelei Warren]

"Yeah, so so I, she perfers it over her full name anyway." She laughs.
"Ria is a nice name too, still better then Lorelei," She smiles then nods to her robes,"Guessing your a Hufflepuff?"

[Marie Porter]

"whats her full name." i ask
"Ria is really short for Maria not Marie, but i like it and its close enough to Marie anyway." i say
"yup, proud to be one." i say "and i'm guessing your graduated." i add

[Lorelei Warren]

"Madeline Jane Marie." She grins, imagining her baby cousin shuddered at the very moment she said her full name.
"Well whatever works then." She laughs laightly.
"House pride, I like." She smiles,"You guessed right, graduated about ten years ago, god do I feel old, former Ravenclaw."

"thats a pretty name, i like it." i say with a grin
"Ria works for me." i say
i smile, " Yup, house pride, wouldn't wanna be anything else." i say "i you don't look 27, mo6e like 23." i say

"Yes, we all tell her that but she insits it's horrible." She laughs lightly.
"Good for you, my little brother and sister were Hufflepuffs too, but almost everyone was a Gryffy. You flatter me, really. 23? Don't I wish."

"one day she'll realize her name is much better than others, she could have been named colgate, for all she knows." i laugh
"Whats you brother and sisters names, maybe one of my brothers and sister know them." i say

"I'll tell her that next time she complains." She laughs.
"Well I have an older brother and two younger ones, Kaleb, Chase and Perry." She stops a moment,"I had a sister, Sally."
