I let out a very deep breath and nod. "Yeah, I know. I'm not... I mean... I'm not at the point of not hanging in there. I don't normally do stuff like this either, but you asked and... I don't know." I laugh a little. "You want to vent at me, too, or do you prefer the whole dignity thing?"

I shrug. "I dunno... potentially gray. Kind of a bluish gray." I shrug again. "Why in the world did you follow me? I mean why not just mail your letter and move on? You don't know me at all."
