I loved the sound that quills made. I couldn't tell you why, I just did. It's also another reason why I loved potions. It was always quiet. I pull out a new ink jar and begin my eighth page of my essay on Amortentia. Normally, I'm not the type of person to be interested in a 'love potion' but it's not too bad. The effects are quite amazing actually, even for a potion.

I tripped over my feet on my way to potions. I was late already, now I'm even later. I hurried into the classroom and took the first seat I saw. "What did I miss?" I asked the fellow beside me. I turn to see that it's Severus. I smile to myself.

I felt my face flush red when she sat next to me. "Amortentia" I whispered, as not to disrupt the class any more.

I arrived 30 minute's late covered in ink,water and possibly rotten egg but i took not notice of the stares and sat down at the front.I didn't know what the heck we were doing so i took out my quill,ink and some parchment and began doodling until the lesson was over.

"We're talking about Love Potions today," I say, leaning over to talk to her," I don't mean to be nosy, but are you okay?" She looked like she was having a bad day, not to mention she smelled to high heaven!

"Shhh!" I say, angrily scribbling away at my parchment. I know she isn't trying to be annoying, but most people come to class to learn.

I smile and shake her hand,"Alexis." I nod my head, motioning to Severus," That's Severus." I drop my voice a bit," Don't worry about him. He's usually pretty nice."

I smiled.''Nice to meet you as well serverus''.There wasnt much point on starting something half way throughand kept doodling but i still listened.
