Briar looked down at the firewhiskey, a grin on her pink lips. "Yes!" She cried, taking a sip of the drink, smiling when she felt the burning liquid go down and soothing her throat. "No Jenny today, thank you Merlin." She kissed the bottle and raised it up before chugging the bottle down.
She picked up another one and just started to sip on it as she looked around the pub. People were here and there, none she saw. Shrugging her petite shoulders, she took another sip.

I look up alarmed at a yell of 'Yes!' from the table next to mine. I was in here...I wasn't sure why, just with every intention of getting plastered. "You're happy to see firewhiskey," I remark to her over my shoulder.

Briar looked over with a raised eyebrow. "I haven't seen firewhiskey in months, leave me be," She said, taking another sip. "Besides, what's wrong with being happy to see firewhiskey?"

"Nothing at all, just curious," I shrug, "How come you haven't seen firewhiskey in so long?"

"Okay then," Briar nodded. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail and said, "Reasons. Been too busy to actually come down and just have a firewhiskey."

I shrug, "Fair enough. I'm Ian by the way."

"I know," Briar said simply. "Heard about you from a few people here and there. I'm Briar."

"Bollocks, can't be good things, I'm not an asshole, I swear," I mutter, "Nice to meet you Briar."

"Ravenclaw," Briar replied before taking another sip of the firewhiskey.

"Slytherin," I say for the sake of it, "You're not very talkative, are you?"

"Used to be. I can be, when I want to be," Briar said, shrugging her shoulders. "You're a snake then?" She shrugged again and took another sip of her firewhiskey.

"Yeah," I shrug, "Used to be?" I ask. I wasn't sure why I was bothering trying with conversation. Probably because I needed some kind of conversation that wasn't influenced by pregnancy hormones and mood swings.

"Not as talkative anymore," Briar said slowly, raising an eyebrow.
