I walked over to the bar, rummaging in my pockets for some money.
"What do you want?" I asked.

"I'll have a butterbeer," Angel smiled, getting her own money out.

"Two Butterbeers, please," I signalled to the barman.
I counted enough money for the drinks before noticing Angel fumbling with some money.
"Put it away. I got these."

Angel sighed, putting it away again. "Are you sure?"

"Of course I'm sure." I replied.
The barman placed the two drinks on bar. I handed one over to Angel and picked up my own.
"There you go. Get that down your neck." I said with a wink. "Where we sitting?"

"You can decide," Angel smiled, taking her drink.

"Okay," I said, "How about this one by the window? Ladies first."
I ushered Angel to take a seat a quaint table for two by the window.

Angel smiled again and sat down. "What are we toasting?"

"How about we drink to no more tears?"

Angel nodded. "No more tears, like it."

I smiled and took a swig of my drink.
"So," I said, "Tell me about yourself, your family... I want to learn!"
I smiled at her.

"What do you want to know about me?" Angel asked, thinking of things to tell him.

"I want to know everything!" I laughed. "Okay. Tell me about your parents."

"Wow, my parents," Angel mumbled. "Well, they were great really. Always helping out and teaching me things. My mother taught me how to sing. They were always out though and I often wondered why. When I turned fifteen I found out I was pregnant and told them and they stopped going out. I had my daughter, Sarah, and everything was great. Then, when Sarah was two everything went wrong. I went outside to get something and when I got back my mother, father and Sarah were all dead, laying on the floor with order members around them. They tried to get me too but I ran. My parents were murdered because they were death eaters and Sarah was considered a threat. That's why I haven't joined either side. Order members killed my parents and they were killed because they were death eaters, leaves no part for me in the war."

"Okay. Well my mother," I began, "She's fantastic. A little excentric... but fantastic none the less."
I took another swig from my drink.
"She was the one that tutored me," I added.

"My father?" I echoed, "I... I don't know anything about him."
I drummed my fingers on the table.
"All I know is he was a Muggle."

"My mother never would mention him." I continued, "Wouldn't tell me his name, his past, what he was like... his death. I never understood why though. She must have her reasons, I guess."

"So..." I said, in a desperate attempt to break the awkward silence.
I sipped some more of my drink.
"You've got beautiful eyes!" I said with a huge grin, "There we go. No more silence!"
I chuckled.
