I smiled. That was the nicest thing she said to me. And she hasn't slapped me since yesterday. YES. Oh no, this means Moony was right when he said 'Maybe if you weren't so egotistical then she would go out with you.' I leant forward and kissed her again, lightly.

Lily kissed James back, wrapping her arms around his neck. "So does this mean, we're like... dating? Officially?" She asked nervously after a moment.

"Only if you want to. I'm not forcing you into anything," I said worried she might think I was. What if that was the only reason she was here. Because she felt forced. I quickly pulled away and stood up, grabbed my jacket and headed towards the door.

For a moment, Lily just sat there, confused at how James just got up and made to leave. Quickly, gatherin her senses, she stood up and grabbed James by the shoulder, making him spin around. She then gave him a quick tender kiss. "If I didn't want to, would I do that?" She asked.

I smiled yet again, pleased that she was doing this because she wanted to and not because she felt forced or threatened. "Where do you want to go now? Or do you want to stay here?" I asked her, now a lot happier than I had ever felt before.

Smiling, Lily said "Why don't we just walk around... we've been sitting in here for a while, I think they're getting mad that we haven't ordered anything." She chuckled. She was actually dating James Potter... what kind of alternet universe had she fallen into?

I chuckled slightly but agreed anyway and led her out of the three broomsticks. "Wereabouts?" I asked her, now nervous that we were actually alone.
