Nervously, Lily walked into the Three Broomsticks with James Potter. Woah.. pause! Since when did Lily Evans get nervous around James Potter? And how in the world did they make it that far without her slapping him? Hmm...
Looking around TTB, Lily found an empty table off towards the left of where they were standing and walked over to sit down. "So..." She started, looking for something to say to break the awkward silence.

Giggling just a bit, Lily said "Life's been pretty good. Heard my sister's dating some whale of a guy, so that's kind of disturbing, but other than that, life's been pretty good." She paused for a second before saying "How's life been with you?"

Lily opened her mouth to reply, but Molly cut her off. "Molly Prewett!" She bellowed, flinging her head around to look at her. "I hope you have your speech ready." She mouthed, reffering to their little bet earlier.

Lily was just as suprised that she had said it also. She hadn't planned on saying it... she was quite comfortable with it staying right there in her head. But nooooo, it just had to slip out.
Why must these moments always be awkward? She thought. A small smile on her face, Lily said "Well I would hope so, I mean, all those years would've been a big waste if you didn't like spending time with me." Smooth Lily, real smooth. she thought sarcastically.

Lily started to chuckle when James stated that he was joining the order. "You're lucky I am too." She said. "I've never really thought about a family. I mean, were only 17, I figured I'd deal with it when the time comes."

Okay I admit, I had not expected this question and was sort of surprised when it came up, but I decided to answer truthfully since I knew she would never trust me if I didn't. "I like you so much because you are beautiful and yet you never seem to realise how beautiful you are. Also because you always seem to be happy even when you are upset, you have a smile on yur face. And because you are smart and kind and caring and giving. You aren't afraid to speak your mind or try new things. And that in my opinion makes a perfect girl. Oh I forgot something! When you talk, you don't only talk with your voice, but with your hands aswell and when you smile it lights up a whole room. You are just perfect in every way in my eyes!"
