I was bored thinking of stuff looking out of the owlery window, sitting on the ledge, of it.

I sigh as I walk up to the owlery. "Damn owls..." I mutter when they scared me from their squawking. "Oh hey Eve..." I say to her with a faint smile. I never smiled like I used to anymore. So many deaths and now my father was after the family. "Whatcha been up to?" I ask as I sit on the ledge waiting for a decent owl to come back.

"That's good about the boyfriend..." I manage a wider smile, but not much. Poor girl. The past always haunts us, haunts me every moment of my life until he's gone... I thought to myself. "Wanna talk about it?" I ask looking at the view.

I look at her for a second. "It's okay. You don't have to tell me if you don't trust me with it." I stand up and walk over to a couple of owls, inspecting them to see if they were fit enough to fly yet. "I haven't told hardly anyone my full story yet. It takes time..." I say to her, just looking at the owls.

"I wouldn't tell a soul..." I say to her truthfully. Finding people to trust lately was hard for me. Taking a risk on someone not to ruin the plans or tell Father were my family or where I was as well. "But, I don't know if I can tell you everything..." I say as I attach a letter to a brown owl's foot.

"But then they sent my father away, so my mother killed herself to be with him, so I was give'in to my evil uncle and auntie, I grow up with my cousin jack" I tell her, looking at her to see if she understood so far.

I paused, "OK.............So me and Jack, learnt all the tricks of the traid, so we became dark marks, then the lord told us to kill them show we were faith full to him" I paused head down, "So we did, he told us that we were, better then them so we needed to get them out of the way............................................But me and Jack ran away here, we didn't know any better" I tell her looking out of the window again, "But were not free" I say still looking out of the window.

I nod, understanding the story. I myself ran away when I was just 11, and then 13.
"I'm still not free either until my father is dead..." I say softly walking over to her, revealing my dark mark. "I was forced to get this horrible thing..." I say shaking my head, leaning on the window sill as well.
