As I return my owl Bear to the owlery, I look at the package that she delivered with curiousity. My cousin in America sent it to me, saying "It's the coolest thing ever, from the muggle society." As I sit on the window ledge, I rip open the packaging to reveal..... A cube. It had several colored squares on each side, all mixed up. I study it for a little while then it dawns on me. "A rubix cube." I whisper. She had told me about these things. They sounded like fun. I began mixing up the colors more.

"Those motherfuckinggoodfornothingpeicesof - " I muttered as I walked into the owlery. I stopped as I saw Angela playing with some cube thing. "Oh, hey, I didn't think anyone else would be here. And what's that?!" I asked.

I laugh. "Its a muggle toy. Called a Rubix Cube. So who are, what was that, mother fucking good for nothing pieces of shits? I'm taking a wild guess on what the last word is of course." I smile at him.

I laughed, blushing slightly. "My parents." I said. "And what do the rubix cubes do?"

"It's like a game. A mental game. You gotta get all the colors organized and put on together on one side." I continue to twist it. In a few seconds, I've got all the white blocks on one side. "What did your parents do to make them....I'm not repeating that again."

I raised my eyes, impressed. "Sounds cool." I said. "And they," I started, then gulped and looked away. "They killed Charly." I said quietly.

"It's kind of hard." I continue to turn the blocks. I glance up at him. "Who's Charly?"

I smiled. "When you figure that thing out, I want a try." I said. "And Charly, Charlotte, was my fiance."

I stop and look up at him for a few seconds then return to the cube. "Yeah, of course. I'm sorry about Charlotte."

"Not your fault." I said smiling slightly. "My parents fault." I muttered.

"I know. But I'm sorry for the loss of someone that I'm assuming you were close to." she gives it a few more twists and squeels. "I got one!"

she continues to turn and twist it. Finally, she stops and tosses it to him "That thing is a headache waiting to happen."

"I bet." I said, trying anyways. After about a minute I shook my head. "I think I just killed it." I said laughing.

I laughed. "Well I didn't..." I siad, quietly, twisting it more. "GOT ONE!" I yelled triumphantly, throwing the rubix cube back to Ange.

"Of course not." I said smiling. "She was...the best. A muggle, but still so brilliant. She had long naturally curly black hair. Blue eyes. Pale skin that gets freckled in the summer." I said grinning. "She was so sarcastic, but knew when it wasn't a good time to use it. We were so close, we could read each other's minds with one look." I stopped. "She was everything to me."
