I walked up to the Owlery to see my pet, Aurora. I went over to her perch, but she wasn't there. 'Must be hunting,' I thought. I turned to leave, but a soft 'who' came from the window. I turned to see Aurora with a letter tied to her leg. I took it off and she flew away. It was from the Ministry of Magic. I opened it and fell to my knees.
Dear Miss Sayuri Kina,
I am most sorry to inform you that your mother has been killed. Her body was found outside of her apartment. We suspect that this killing was done by the Killing Curse from Deatheaters. Upon your will, we will leave you with the decision on how you want to make formalities with her. Also, your father is nowhere to be found. We suspect that he might have connections in the killing of your mother and is a possible Deatheater. I am sorry for your lost.

Tears fell from my eyes and I felt myself fully fall to the cry. I laid there crying on the Owlery floor.
