Needing some time to just be alone I walked slowly up to the room of requirement. I opened the door when it appeared and walked inside, going over to sit on the comfy couch that I had thought of. I sat down and pulled my knees to my chest, trying to clear my mind. "Maybe this wasn't a good place to come..." I say quietly to myself looking around, not believing that I actually forgot how much me and Riyann had hung out here. I realised I wasn't ready to be here or be alone, I got up and was about to leave when the door pushed open.

Briar strolled through the halls of Hogwarts aimlessly. Shelby wasn't in her class, so she obviously wasn't here. She noticed something, the blank wall. Memories flooded her mind and she sighed. A door popped and opened it up carefully so she wouldn't hurt her bandaged wrists. "Holy shit!" She cried and jumped back when someone was in there.

I jumped a bit when I heard Briar yell, not expecting to scare anybody. "Sorry.. Didn't mean to scare you.." I say to her, knowing I must've looked like a mess.

Briar put a hand to her chest and looked over at Riley. Her eyes widened at the site of him and walked over to him slowly. "Ri, what's wrong?" She asked quietly. The things that were on her mind were vanished for the moment. The only thing she was worrying about right now was her best friend.

I saw the worried look Briar was giving me as she walked forward and realized she still hadn't heard. I took in a shaky breath and shook my head faintly, still not being able to say anything about this without getting upset.
I felt a few tears roll down my cheek, ".. It's Riyann.." I say quietly, my voice a little ruff.

Briar watched him for a moment then understood. The way Briar was when Logan died. She wiped away his tears and nodded in understanding, "O-oh," She said quietly. "I'm sorry Ri." She pulled him into a short hug then pulled away.

I hugged her back and had a few more tears fall down my cheek, nodding my head slightly, not wanting to speak, feeling a knot in my throat.

I nodded slightly again and swallowed slightly, trying to keep from more tears spilling over my eyes. "Thanks Briar..." I say quietly, not knowing what else to say.

Briar pulled away and smiled weakly, "You're strong Riley. Do you want all the Crescent's to be looking down right now and smiling in triumpht? Because I technically can't hurt them if they're already dead ," She shook her head.

Briar sighed and said, "Fine. Only because I love you though. Well, Logan came home, alive, we got close. He asked me if I was ready for kid number 4. I told him no, he got upset. I went to go check on the twins and Jenny got hurt because he moved when she tried to sit on his lap. I came in to help and she said that she wanted her mom, since you weren't I tried to help her but she yelled at me saying I wasn't her mom. He said some shit to me and I slapped him, said some..rude things to Jenny and ran back into the twins room. They came in, Logan saying that we was taking Jenny to St. Mungos. Jenny pulled on my arm saying that I was coming too. I told him to go back to..um..Shelby, because it felt as if he was comparing me to her. I said to Jenny that I was going to try and heal her before she said all those things. Jenny said, 'Mom, please come with me' and Logan said for her not to call me that again because it would hurt the person that truly cared. I screamed at him to kill me and to leave. He...he took the twins out of the room after that and Jenny tried jumping out the window because she thought it was all her fault. I told her it wasn't and raced after Logan. H-he told me that he was ridding my duties as a mom and that he was going to put the twins up for adoption. I begged him not to and he told me I don't deserve them. I told him Alex was right then and that I had nothing else to live for. He said, and I qoute, "You may have them back, once you bare me a child." I ran into the bathroom, punched the mirror, picked up a shard of glass and well.." She motioned to her bandages after that. The tell didn't hurt to say as much, but she still felt a pang in her heart whenever she recalled the memory.

Briar frowned when she seen how weakly he smiled and suddenly wished she had some icecream and muggle movies. When she seen a mini refridgerator, television, and videos appear.
