Peace and Quiet

[Taya Lynn Roberts]

Taya sat at the table, looking down at a book she'd picked out in the muggle world.
This was one of the only quiet places she could come to read without someone yelling or screaming.
Especially at home, with now two small kids there.
She slightly felt bad for leaving Annabell there.
She sighed and turned a page in the book before dog flapping it and setting it down on the table.
Taya opened up her messenger bag that she'd always carried with her and pulled out her notebook.
Pushing some of her blonde hair out of her eyes, she opened it up to the most recent picure she'd drawn.
The one at the lake.
There were many kids iceskating that day, perfect happy drawing.
A small smile came upon Taya's lips as she smoothed out the paper.

Gabriel headed to the library. He was bored out of his mind and still couldn't find his dear cousin. He knew she liked to read so he decided to check one of his old hang out places. As an old Ravenclaw he also had a certain liking for the knowledge that the books in the vast library held.

Flicking his hair out of his eyes, he walked into the library, it was almost deserted, and he felt much too lively to be able to sit down and read a book. He noticed a blonde haired girl sitting at a nearby table, shrugging his shoulders to himself he decided to join her.

Gabriel sat down opposite the girl on the table, he noticed the drawing she had laid out on the wooden surface. "That's a really good drawing." He commented, looking up from the sketch to smile at the girl.

Taya looked up from her notebook and smiled slightly, "Um..thanks," She said with a small blush.
She wasn't expecting anyone to come in here, let alone sit opposite her.
She pushed some hair out of her face and added, "It's just a silly little drawing, nothing special."
