Three steps forward. One step back. Three steps forward. One step back. I've been in a trace for the last ten minutes, head down watching my black and white sneakers move. It's almost as if they're doing it on their own now. 'I really should get a hobby' I think to myself as I round the corner into the herbology section.

I look up from my book and notice a girl infront of me. Apparantly she didn't notice she was about to step on my feet. "Errm. Excuse me miss, but your kind of stepping on my feet." I say as nicely as I could manage with the sudden pain in my right toe.

I smile and pull back my hand. "A book.. of Counter-curses.. volume Seven!" I say, reading the title on the book in Severus's hands," I thought that wasn't published until next month." I loved magic that dealt with my wand. My favorite class is DADD, and not to brag or anything, I'm not to shabby either.

I smile," Just your company. But I guess I should get going." I stand up and dust off my legs. "Nice meeting you Severus. Let me know when your done that book, I'd really like to borrow it from you." I wave goodbye and skip my way out of the library. "Where to next" I think outloud, searching the halls for a possible clue.

I look up in shock. A baby. When was Molly pregnant? "Umm.. Both." I say uneasily. Feeling a bit awkward I stand up, placing my books on the closest shelf. I look down at the baby. "Who's.. is he?" I ask.

"peter calls himself the father, but when arthur and i get married arthur will, at least i hope, be his other father." i say in a monotone. no need to tell him teh details or anything like that. "now what i need to talk to you about is something that happened about a year ago." i say and take a dep breath waiting to see if he'd let me go on.

"ok. so you got a good memory?" i ask sitting back. bills look oddly at severus. like he was trying to figure out what he was aboout. bill starts to reach out for him. i didn't care if he held him so i looked up at severus, as if asking he he wanted to hold bill.

"Uhh.." I scratched my head awkwardly, then looked up to Molly. She wanted me to hold him, so I took Bill. It was odd. "He's so... small." I look down at Bill. He was playing with my badge. I figured I should let him, seeing as Molly was trying to tell me something. I look back up at her and nod, meaning it was ok to carry on.

"well see there was this guy. i was really drunk and he was really drunk. therefore we were both friendly. a little too friendly. not going to go into details, but i remember who the guy was." i say hoping he'd remember. it's been a year so he shouldn't have that big of a reaction when he remembers.

Shocked I look at the ground. I can feel my face turning red. 'Why am I embarrassed,' I ask myself ' it's not like it was me...' I sit up extremely straight. It was me. How did.. "Molly.. I.." I couldn't think of anything to say. I pushed what had happened out of my mind for what I thought was forever. I even used a mild memory spell. "Molly. I'm sorry. I-I wish I could remember more but.." I look at her, a bit ashamed,"I used a mild memory spell and I don't remember all of what happened."

"just peachy. so i still get the memories and you get off with a memory spell. i would have done that, but i'm nothing wtith memory charms. would have blown my head off. and i couldn't have someone do it for me, they would ask why." i sigh then smile slightly when bill starts to play with severus badge again.

"I don't know. I don't know much about this really." I pause for a moment. "Molly can you please help me out here. There was obviously a reason why I made a memory spell, and I don't deserve not knowing. It sounds like it was a big deal and it doesn't feel right 'getting off the hook' so-to-speak." I study her face. I have a knot in my stomach that I know wont go away until I know what I did or didn't do. I really hope I didn't hurt her.
