I looked into his beautiful amber eyes and suddenly felt the courage i had been waiting for. "Remus, i...i really like you." I say. I kissed him quickly and felt the courage leave me and felt like a fool. I started running down the corridor but suddenly stopped when i saw Serenity sitting there.

I sunk down against the wall in the alcove we'd been standing in a minute before.
James had been telling me she liked me for ages, but I'd not listened.
I never thought she'd like me.
And now there was Rin...
I got up, kicked the wall, then stormed back to the common room, not knowing what to do or how to feel.

I looked behind me and saw Remus leaving. I looked back at Serry's concerned face and felt my eyes starting to water. I sunk to the floor and tried to hold myself together.
