OOC-It was really nice out yesterday so it was slow at work and I got out early...then I went to my little cousin's birthday party and then hung out with friends got yelled at by my parents.

OOC - Sounds fun. Apart from the being yelled at part. Upside of having no parents I guess, means I never piss them off. Although I think Mum's coming back soon. I don't know. If she does Mika will have to move out and things'll get worse again with her probably, but Holly won't get taken away. I don't know if I want her back or not.

OOC - I have no idea what it's like to have a dad. But yeah, I know the badside of having a mum. I can imagine what it's like to have good parents, but I have no idea if I'm right or not. I just try my best to me mum/dad/brother and if I'm failing miserably then I have no problem with Holly turning round and saying 'it's his fault I grew up wrong' because it would be.

OOC- Not really unless they catch me off guard, like one day I ate dinner with them and then i hear , 'sarah you need to cut down on food.' when I was eating at least a quarter amount of food then they were and I didn't eat earlier that day.

OOC - Sounds bad. At least I don't have to put up with mine at the moment. The worst thing I can remember about my mum is having to hide under the desk in my room with Holly when Holly was really little. That was awful. Having to protect Holly when I couldn't even protect myself. And Holly turned around and asked why I had ketchup on my head. That's the worst thing that ever happened because of mum. But she's supposedly sober again now she's been in rehab for a year.

OOC- sometimes it takes longer than that to be sober, but i know how you feel. When I was a kid my parents used to hit all of us and i could always hear it happen...scares the shit out of me.

OOC - I know, that's why I'm half-hoping she doesn't come back, in case she's not sober again yet. She only ever hit me. I'm glad about that. She can hit me all she likes, well, I'd rather she didn't obviously, but she can hit me and I'll take it. But if she ever turns on Holly then I'm taking her away. I don't care what any social service person says, I'm taking Holly away with me. Scares the shit out of me too.

OOC- Well I think my parents had the idea that it's a bad thing and actually got smart and stopped. I would stay for a sibling if they were getting hurt, if she does hurt Holly, that gives you every right to fight her back. Fuck her for giving you life and then beating the shit out of you. You don't have to take that and you have to fight back just don't kill her.

OOC - I can't fight back though. I was bigger and stronger than her when I was about 11 but I can't fight back because she's my mum, and she's a she for another thing and I can not hit a woman (sounds sexist but I just can't do it) not to mention I know I could really hurt her if I did fight back. I'm really tempted to just say fuck social services and take Holly away anyway.

OOC-In the states legal system if you have no money to take care of their needs, and the other party is surely unfit...they might put the child in a third party area 'foster home' or something to that affect, but it also shows that you are unfit as well if you cannot provide for the child you're claiming rights to. So forth your age may be a factor because you are so young they aren't sure that you may handle taking care of a child at such a young age...but that's my opinion on it and a lawyer's stand point...does that make sense?

OOC- I'll tell you the nerdy thing to do which you might not like....research cases that are kind of related to you, a custody case that involve some one close to your age and see if it was won, because you could use the same grounds in court, there are a lot of things like that in the US, but I don't know if your court system is like ours. Then get a job try to save as much as you can to show you have a stable income and life and then argue your ass off for her. Oh if you live near an air port try to get a job at a coffee place, they pay really well in tips and you don't have to be nice to them if you're on the bar.
