"Thank you, Briar. See, Cassy , if you could be as understanding as Briar then maybe we could actually get along and it wouldn't be such a waste of time talking to you about it."

"Waste of time then? Alright. I won't waste any more of your time. I know you are mad but just because your mad doesn't give you the right to kill some one. Hope to never see you again." I said and left.

Briar stayed silent, her eyes wide. Say something you idiot. She nodded and looked over at Angel, opening her mouth to say something. She quickly closed it, not finding any words to say.

"Well, that could have gone better," Angel mumbled, looking at Briar with tears in her eyes. "You and Ian are the only ones I can really be myself around anymore, Briar," she said softly.

Briar smiled weakly, "Alot of people have changed, haven't they? You have too, but that's because of what happened," She said softly. "Do you know why she did it Angel?-..scratch that, you probably don't do you?"

"I really don't know why," Angel sighed. "And that's what hurts the most. My friend killed me. It would have been better if she'd had a reason, but she doesn't. She did it because she wanted to, Briar. Because she wanted to," she said softly.

"I-I don't know what to say Angel. I've only been betrayed this one time, I wish I did know. I hate seeing you have to go through this," Briar said quietly, wiping away a tear that had fallen.

Briar hugged her back, too many things on her mind. "Let's get off the topic, thinking about it will only make things worse," She said.

"I want to say something random, because it's becoming awkward, well to me. Gay babies," She said, smiling. One of the first times she actually acted like the old Briar since the incident.

"What the hell is up with the gay babies?" Angel asked, laughing. "Let's just be our old selves around each other. It doesn't matter about other people but we promise each other we'll stay the same."

"Says who?" Briar asked, raising a slender eyebrow. She took a pale hand and stole a shiny, red apple from a first year. A innocent smile played on her lips as she drew back, biting into the apple.

"Well, the ones you actually like, anyway," Angel laughed, rolling her eyes. "But you know what I mean. The ones you care about and who mean something to you. Like Taya's little girl or something. Those ones. Not random first years who you haven't ever met before."

Briar smiled , agreeing with one of her best friends. "First years are easy to annoy. I mean, yeah I love kids, but I wouldn't just take any random kid in. I've never had to actually give up my fun to take responsibility for another!" She groaned, banging her head on the table. "Sixteen years old with a two year old daughter, who's turning three in five days. Merlin help me."
[[ I know, it gets kind of annoying. You're not expressing what they're doing or anything. But it's kind of hard coming up with sentences off the top of your head too.]]

Angel sighed, knowing this must be hard for Briar. "Hey, well at least you have me to help. I promise I'm not going to let you do this on your own," she said firmly, this time actually meaning her promise. She was going to do everything to help Briar with whatever she needed. Briar was one of her only two friends left and she knew she had to do whatever she could to keep that friendship going for as long as she could. "What is her name? Or did you tell me that already?" She asked, playing around with her ponytail. Angel hated that thing almot more than life at the moment, but that was hardly possible.

"Jennifer Sophia, we all call her Jenny though. She hates pink and bows, learned that. Loves brocolli, mud, and some other things. Sounds like a daddy's girl through and through doesn't she?" Briar said. She smiled slightly, hugging Angel. "Thanks." She took a bite of the apple she had, loving the taste. That one bite turned into another and another as she listened to Angel.

"She sounds like a mini version of me," Angel joked, laughing slightly. The little girl sounded cool, her dream daughter really. "She sounds cute. When can I meet her? She has to meet her new best friend," she joked, laughing. "Hey, I want an apple now." Angel looked around the Entrance Hall, looking for someone to steal an apple off of. She sighed when she saw none around, but just shrugged and turned back to Briar. "So what else do you know about her? I like the sound of her already." She smiled, interested in the girl. She grabbed a carton of milk from a second year and glared when she tried to get it back. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, little girl," she growled, drinking it anyway. "Oops, all gone. How sad." "I want to teach her to play catch. Her birthday is in five days, so I need to buy her something," Briar said, propping her chin in her hand. She chuckled when Angel said that and shook her head, the black hair in the ponytail swaying ever so slightly. "The first time I met her she said she liked turtles..." She trailed off, remembering. "You just have to see her though Angel! She's so cute and looks alot like Logan." She bit into the apple again and took another apple, handing it to Angel.
[[Cool. Who are you?]]

"Does it hurt when you look at her?" Angel asked softly. She knew it would hurt her if she had Jason's kid since he'd been missing. She thought she was getting over it, though. Slowly but surely, she was getting over it. And she was pleased about that. No point in wasting time on something that will probably never happen. "How old will she be? I'm sure you've already told me this but my memory has been bad lately. Didn't you say she was almost three?" She smiled, taking the apple. "Thanks." [ooc - Captain Jack Sparrow. ]
