I nod, and try to think of a change of subject. I'm sitting next to a murderer. How do you change the subject from that? "So... um... ah... how old's your daughter, that you mentioned earlier?"
((Loons are weird. I don't like you anymore.))

"Um..." I thought for a moment, "I...er...don't actually know, to be completely honest," I scratch the back of my head, "See, she's not really been mine, for a long time, and then suddenly her mum's gone so I don't really have a choice," I realise how that sounded and hastily add, "Not that I don't want her or anything. I mean, I love her and all, it's just I'm not used to it." I trail off.
[[fine grins like a lemming then]]

I shrug. "So... two or three? Angela does that. And I think she started talking at about... 22 months or something." I smile. "And what does she argue with you about?"
((Er... 'go, lemmings, go!' is more a way of saying, 'if the stupid people want to go jump off a bridge because everyone else is, good riddance.' But anyway. Andy says he thinks of you as a little sister, and I told him I would tell you that, then ask you to run over his foot again.))

"Yeah, probably about that. And she argues with me about everything...and takes everything literally...like when...well, my brother's not a kid person and it was kind of awkward when they got introduced and they just stared at each other a bit so I hit him and told him to say something, and he said 'er...don't talk to strangers?' so now she won't talk to anyone unless she's asked me if she can and shaken their hand first." I laugh, "And then I tell her she doesn't have to do that as long as I'm there, but she argues about that. And whether or not I scare women away because that's what my brother also told her. And whether it's allowed to set big beetles loose in other people's houses. And if she's allowed to listen to Morgan when she tries to teach her bad words. And just about everything."
[[haha, oh well. WHAT? I AM NO GIRL! I would run over Andy's foot but he's kind of all bluerky at the moment so we have to give the guy a break right now.]]

I laugh for a while and shake my head. "She sounds really cute... and it's nice that she's cautious. And that she thinks you scare people... that's always a plus." I shake my head again. "Who's this Morgan person who's trying to corrupt your kid?" (( So I've heard... so in that case could you please sneak up behind him and put him in a chokehold sort of hug? Thanks.))

"Yeah, she is," I laugh slightly, "And she has an imaginary pet butterfly who likes to throw around and maim." I shake my head slightly, "Morgan? Oh, Morgan is my brothers dead girlfriends little sister, so she says she's his not-sister, so that makes her my not-not-sister apparently. But yeah, overly hyper Gryffindor fifth year, goes by Row, but I call her Morgan. Likes to teach small children things they shouldn't know."

I nod. "Wow. That's quite a description." I laugh. "I had an imaginary Fuzzy when I was little. I'm still not sure exactly what a Fuzzy is, but apparently he ate things that scared me and was very cuddly." I shrug.
((Thanks. Laura wants to give him a hug too. Unless of course he starts getting pissed at all the hugs he's being given.)) ((And this is slightly... weird... but Maria wants to be your stalker, and would like to know if that's okay with you.))

"Yeah, sure is," I laugh slightly, "A fuzzy? Well, as long as it worked for you when you were little, you don't need to know what it actually was. We have Chouko the butterfly. Because Chouko is Japanese for butterfly, and she's Papillon, which is French for butterfly. She likes them." I shrug slightly.

I raise my eyebrows. "Very multicultural," I nod. Then grin. "So did you have any imaginary friends?"
((Cool. And I'm sure she'll be pleased when she wakes up. Only 8:30 on a Sunday here, so... yeah. No one else is awake. They never are. Anyway... I also need to point out that it is statistically unlikely for Rowan to be interested in the same three people who are interested in him. I mean that's just weird.))
