I gasped along with the other first years, as the big entrance doors opened. showing us the interior of Hogwarts.
I had been doing a lot of gasping lately. Everything was so new and magical. I had gasped as i feel through the hidden wall into platform 9 3/4. I had gasped when i saw the gigantic gamekeeper, Hagrid. I had gasped when we crossed the lake and i had my first glimpse of Hogwarts.
I shy-ed away as the other first years around me chattered excitedly as we were waiting to be sorted. I was too scared to start a conversation with someone i didn't know. I was far too shy. Instead i looked around the entrance hall in awe. I had never seen something so amazing.

"1st years! This way!" I call. I wore my prefect badge proudly. One to show who was boss and two was 'cos I knew it pissed off Roxie knowing I was made prefect and she wasnt."All first years this way!"

"can i poke one of them?" i ask looking down at them, "please." i beg looking right at a very shy looking girl. "come on everyone knows that i love poking first years." i chuckle still looking at the girl

"HEY FIRST YEARS!" Briar bellowed, running up. "Oh dear, I've been around James too long." She laughed. ' I wanna annoy a first year.' She thought looking through them all, landing on one. "HIIII!!!!"

"sweet! cookie!" i laugh and snatch the cookie from the kid. "don't take it personal love." i chuckle and eat the cookie. "first years. they bore me." i laugh and sit on the stairs looking around

I narrow my eyes,"I'm not afraid to hex a girl I'll tell you that, you lot can poke them later when they've been sorted but now most of them are probaly scared out of their bloody minds and I dont need two annoying girls making it even worse by poking them."

i nod my head and put my thumb up but ask, a bit muffled "is that all you got?" i chuckle then take my wand out and fix my teeth. "seriously i was hoping you'd do some real damage." i chuckle
