I walked back to Hogwarts hanging my head. 'Is this what my training has lead to? Killing one of my friends in cold blood just to prove myself to Bella? And not just her, my father as well.' I slide down the wall and waited for her to show up.

I saw Bella in the door way watching me. I looked over at Maddie. "Maddie, I promised myself that I would never become the person that my father wanted me to be," I spoke calmly, "But now, I see that I was following that path all along. Maddie, I was instructed to kill you as a way to prove myself to another." I looked away from her waiting for her reaction.

Bella was to far away to hear what was being said, but she saw Sayuri was speaking calmly. What is she doing? It really isn't neccessary for them to have a little before-death chit-chat... She thought.

'Great,' I thought, 'Sirius. Just what I need right now on top of Bella.' "Maddie, I am only telling you that as a friend," I told her, "I would never betray our friendship and I don't plan on it." i walked over to Bella and stood in front of her. "Do what you want with me because I would rather deal with that then ever betray my friend and kill her in cold blood!"

"Well that didn't take long." Bella smirked. She grabbed Sayuri's wrist, and was ready to apparate back to HQs when noticed her oh so wonderful cousin. "My, my, and I thought this was over... but it seems it's just beginning." She said, still smirking.

I let Bella grab my wrist. A deal was a deal and I was not about to go back on my word. "Good-bye Maddie," I whispered, "Maybe I'll live to see you and the others." I bowed my head. "Let's go Bella and get this over with."
