I drift vaguely into the Entrance hall, sick if throwing rocks around outside.
I see Remus, Rin and a little girl I don't know or recognise.
"Hey," I say quietly to them. "Rem, can I speak to you later? When you're not busy?"

I stiffen a moment, having not been hugged in a long time, then hug her lightly back. "Nah, I'm a bit a wet blanket at the moment, Ari. I'd spoil all your fun."

"Well," I say, thinking, "How about, I go do what I have to do, and you and Rinny and Remoose go out for icecream, and then when you get back, you all come and find me and I will play you a song? Just for you."
