"Do you tell her anything at all, mate?" He says. "Did you tell her about where you bugger off to sometimes? Your regular trips to Azkaban to see that random guy who just insults you but you still go back to try and talk to him every week? Did you tell her about whatever the hells going on with you and Peter that means you keep hexing each other? Did you tell her how much danger she's in?"
"Shut up." I say quietly. "Shut up, Mika."
"Come on, explain away all those things, Remus! Explain what the hell you were doing in death eater HQ, asking to speak to Voldemort!" He says loudly.

He's right, although Lord only knows how he found out, I got to Azkaban every week to try and get forgiveness from my ex-girlfriends criminal father because I killed her two years ago! There! And-...and-...Peter and I are at each others throats because he enjoys being a death eater! He actually enjoys it! He's using crucio in the dorm room on our roommates for God's sake! And the danger, you want to know about that? The thing I'm doing for the Order, I had to go and speak to Him and get this," I pull my sleeve up to briefly show her the shadow of a dark mark on my arm, "so I can get into the colony unchallenged, and he found out I lied to him and now he said he's going back on his word to leave you and the baby alone! That's what's going on! That's everything!"

I stop in my tracks still holding Ari. "See I have to make a big deal out of it if I want you to tell me things. Do you know how much it hurts to have things kept from you Remus? What if I hadn't said I was having a baby and you found out? How would you feel when you knew from someone else and didn't find out from me?"

"You tracked me to the shack. How long had you been following me?"
"Best part of six months. Why do you go back to Azkaban when he just yells at you?"
"You wouldn't get it if I explained it to you."
"Try me."
"No."
"Didn't mess things up for you, did I?"
I shrug. "I don't know. Probably not. Maybe a little."
"Sorry."
I shrug again.
