i had been looking around for Ricky. i had to ask him something. it's been in my mind for a while and i had to know. normally if i was looking for someone i'd just yell their name over and over as loud as i could, but I've changed... and not for the better. i had asked people to tell him to come to the great hall if they saw him, so i sat on the stairs with my head down.

i walk in the entrance hall and see molly sitting on teh stairs alone. i walk over to her and sit next to her, pretty close. "hello love. what's the matter?" i whisper in her ear and put my arm around her.

i try to get his arm off of me, but he pulls tighter. i try to move away he moves closer. i wasn't in the mood to deal with him. "leave me alone." i sigh still trying to get away from him.

I walked into the Enterance Hall somebody told me that she was looking for Ricky and I saw him at the quiditch pitch with Izzy. I found her with some boy. I went over and said "I know where he is Molly"

"no." i say honestly, "i never will be again." i add, "but when we were out in the courtyard, and you had your wand at my throat. why didn't you hex me or anything? and what about after? why did you let me go unharmed? i tackled you three times and puched you. not that hard but i still punched you, i was practically asking for you to do something to me. why didn't you?" i ask my hands starting to shake more and more.

"because then i would have been hurt then i wouldn't have gone after your father then i wouldn't have ran into about eight death eaters and i wouldn't have had them all attack me, throwing killing curses at me and i wouldn't have almost gotten myseklf killed and then i wouldn't have had them all tell me it was my fault my brothers died and i wouldn't have had them give me good reasons why it's my fault and i would still be the old molly." i cry out softly.

"it's not your fault that i'm really, really, really, stupid." i say hugging him back "god they are violent, i thought i was going to die when they started to call for more to come. but they said it was my fault. and i had your dad. i had him right at my fingertips, wand at his throat . it was a trap anyways. he knew i couldn't kill him. i don't have the guts to kill anyone. he did it just to make me more easy to target." i chuckle bitterly. "i had him. i was so close." i whisper softly having tears fall.

"yeah you are." i smile then decide to put him to teh test. i bring out my squirrel and hold him out to ricky, it starts to hiss so i think it's safe. i set teh squirrel in his lap and wait..... just tehn it crawls up his shoulder and bites him in the right ear. i grin. "ok your good." i smile.
