Of course the first place for Carys to go to on arrival at her old school was the quidditch pitch. She had always loved to fly and last year had had her greatest wish granted when she was offered the place of seeker on her favorite quidditch team.
Here she sat in the stands looking out at the pitch. She had left her broomstick at home today but didn't mind much seeing as she was on it most of the time. She had hoped to see some of the students practising but none were at the moment. She just sat and watched the empty pitch, happy in her own company for the moment, just letting her thoughts wonder.

I walked up to the quidditch pitch and into the stands. I didn't know why I never came up here. I sat down in a chair and looked around. I saw a girl sitting in a seat and facing the pitch and looked over to her.

Carys felt someone's gaze on her and turned around, meeting the gaze of what she persumed to be a student at the school. "Hey." She smiled at him. "I guess i'm not the only one that likes to sit out here then." She added, shifting in her seat so she was facing him properly.

I smiled back at her, "This's actually the only time I've been up here when there wasn't a game." I chuckled a bit and moved to a seat that was closer to her, "I'm Riley Pearson." I say holding my hand out to her, smiling.

"I guess i'm just a mad quidditch fan." Carys grinned and shook his hand. "I'm Carys Hart, or Carys Moore. You decide." She laughed swiftly. "I've never quite got used to having a different surname, but it's always fun using both."

"Wow, you're weird." Carys replied in a jokey tone. She knew most people weren't as enthusiastic about quidditch as she was. "Yeah I am." She smiled. "Four years and I still don't always use his second name. Luckily he doesn't mind too much."

"No problem." Carys smiled. The name didn't ring a bell so she shook her head. "Unfortunately not, but i'm sure she's wonderful." She grinned. "I probably wouldn't know many people here, unless they're a relative of mine or a visiting graduate or something."
