"alright" Saphire said to herself as she walked the length of the pitch again. "So he says this" And to herself, she rethough the conversation out in her head again. "But then HE said this right?" she thought, and nodded, deciding it was true. "But what do I believe?" She asked out loud in a queiter tone.
With frustration getting the best of her, she kicked the stands "ow!!!" She yelled into the cold night air as she sat down on the semi wet ground. "Perfect.." she said bitterly, taking off her shoe.

And the greatly awful Arden strikes again, I think wearily to myself, trudging away from the changing rooms after practice. After the face-cracking incident I hadn’t thought I could get any worse, but I suppose I should have known better.
No matter how bad things have gotten, they always can get worse. Although then again, they can also get better. For example, have you noticed even shouting doesn’t affect you anymore? You should have been reduced to tears after an ordeal like that, but now you just shrug and hate yourself a little. That’s improvement, right?
I snort softly, walking faster, only to slip on the damp grass when I jump in surprise, hearing an “ow!” come out of nowhere. I’d been oblivious to the presence of anyone else, and even now I don’t really care. I just lie there for a moment, flat on my back and staring at the sky, until I have to close my eyes against possible tears.
((Sorry it took so long.))

Saphire looked up at the sound of someones voice in her head. She hadn't known any one was out here at this hour and she sighed. With a wince, she shoved the shoe back onto her hurt foot and stood up. 'This should be fun' she thought to herself as she walked to where the 'voice' came from. She was limping a bit, due to her injured foot but she had, had much worse in her past.
She snorted at herself, 'tough' she thought to herself with a shake of her head. 'your just SO tough..' her thoughts were cut off when she saw a familiar face on the ground in front of her.
"You probably shouldn't be out here" She said in a light tone. "Who know's what dangers lurk around in the blackness some refere to as night"
((Lol, thats alright.))

I open my eyes again when I hear a vaguely familiar voice, and notice that Saphire girl with the way-too-fragile temper standing there.
This is not my day.
I sigh softly, not bothering to get up. At the moment, I don’t really care if she decides to hex me or what, and I’ve long since stopped being the type of person who goes for excessive politeness to keep from annoying people. If I feel like it, maybe I’ll even annoy her on purpose. But at the moment I’m feeling pretty apathetic.
“Thank you. I’ll keep that in mind,” I say, right on the edge between flippant and sincere.

She nodded with a slight smirk of her own. The girl didn't seem to be getting up, but that ment nothing.
Saphire looked at her and put her hand out to help her up. "The ground is wet and gross" She commented with a roll of he eyes.

I eye her hand suspiciously, then shrug slightly. “Not that gross. And it’s not as though I can get any wetter or grosser just because I stay her longer, can I?” I ask, semi-rhetorically but also rather curious.
You’re being really weird, dearest, my voice reminds me, but I shrug again.

Saphire shrugged. "Not sure" She said ignoring the girls thoughts and tilted her head "Are you going to take my hand or not?". Saphire normaly wouldn't have just let the girl sit there, but didn't have any reason not to help her up.

“No, I don’t think I will,” I shrug, shaking my head. “It’s actually quite comfy here.”

“Well, thank you, that’s just what I was planning,” I nod, noticing for the first time now that she’s not offering to help me up how wet and cold it is down here.
Always the contrarian… weirdo.
“So what might you be doing out here?” I ask politely, still not getting up.

Saphire heard the girls little side thought and smirked. "I could ask you the same question, but I believe people shoudl have their own privacy"

“Well, I just ended Quidditch practice,” I shrug. “Don’t really see any need to keep that private. But all right. I was just curious.”

Saphire raised her eyebrows at the girl sitting on the cold and wet ground. She was curious, and Saphire knew this. Rumors of the girl were everything false as far as Saphrie could see. The girl was nothing like anyone said she was. 'Hmm..' She thought to herself and decided she didn't care with a shrugg.

I raise my eyebrows back at her, wondering why she’s just standing there now and getting a bit uncomfortable with the silence… as well as with the cold wet ground, which seems to have finally soaked through the back of my robes, making me shiver. Maybe if I wasn’t a nutcase I would get up now, I think musingly.

Saphire laughed at the girls thoughts and covered her mouth. 'Idiot!' she thought to herself with a sigh.
No she would look like the nutcase. She paused for a moment, thinking this over. 'Everyone already thinks your mental...' She nodded to the voice which had said this..
"Yeah..they pretty much do huh?" She asked herself outloud with another shake of her head.

I raise my eyebrows further when she laughs, wanting to ask why she did so but not sure if I should. Thought you didn't care bout caution? But then she talks to herself and I frown, wondering wildly if it was something I thought and whether I should care. "They... pretty much do what?" I ask slowly, finally deciding that I've had enough of shivering and sitting up.

“Okay,” I shrug. “Just curious.” I shiver again and cross my arms as if that will help, deciding that this wasn’t my most brilliant move. “So how have you been?” I ask politely. “I haven’t seen you since you threatened to slit my throat.”

Saphire laughed, remembering that moment fondly. "Been busy..doing big people stuff ya know?"
She shrugged, and looked at the girl. "Cold yet?" She smirked, knowing full well tha the girl was.

“I suppose,” I shrug, answering both questions at once and easily ignoring the miniscule flash of irritation at her condescending words.

Saphire shrugged again, not close to being amused. Boring.. "Are you going to piss me off yet? Because if you aren't, I'm going to go..It's no fun just listening to a person talk"

I laugh at that, possibly more amused than the comment really calls for me to be, then shrug. “I was under the impression that you’re pretty easy to piss off, because I’m kind of surprised I haven’t yet,” I say thoughtfully. “You in a better mood today or what?”

Saphire rolled her eyes. "Not really..Boring day thus far and it's rather a dissapointment that you haven't given me a reason to hex you yet" She smiled at that.. She didn't actually have to have a reason.

“Hm…” I nod, then shrug. “My apologies, I guess…. Do you have any suggestions? Anything I could say that might piss you off?” Somewhere in the back of my mind is a voice asking what the hell is wrong with me… why am I finding all this so mildly amusing? But it’s being overruled by the amusement itself, and by another small, daring, angry part of me that apparently wants to be hexed.

Saphire laughed slightly. The girl had guts, and she would pay for them. If not by Saphire, then someone else was promising. With a slight raise of her eyebrows she twirled her wand in her hand. The girl was amusing her, despite the fact that Saphire hadn't used her wand. "Why don't you tell me?"

"You want me to tell you what's going to piss you off?" I ask, raising my eyebrows. "Last I checked, I'm not the one who's a mind reader." I watch her twirl her wand semi-warily, although mostly it just makes me more amused.

I laugh slightly at that, though I nearly choke in surprise. "I really don't know who you've heard that from... but you maybe should consider another source." Briefly I remember torturing Logan in the forest... but I don't see how anyone could possibly have heard about that. And even if so, it wouldn't give me some sort of 'hard-ass' reputation, would it? It's the only thing I can think of that even comes close.
