Draven extended his arms way up into the sky, feeling like floating through the air. The chilly night air whipped around his face, stinging it and making it turn a bright pink. Though it was brisk out, that didn't stop him from taking a night flying trip around the Pitch.
'Reach your hands to the sky, if you feel alive!' He laughed to himself, singing one of his favorite songs in his mind.

I listened to my Ipod one of my muggle friends had given me. All I could hear was the sound of My Chemical Romance busting through the head phones. I started to hum but changed to singing. "You said you read me like a book with the pages all torn and frayed out." I hadn't actually been this relaxed in.. Forever. I turned my attention from a star to a guy riding around on a broom.

He whirled his broom around in the night sky, not really having a care in the world right now. Looking to down below, he saw a girl wandering around the pitch as well. "Ayy!" Draven cried, lowering his broom slowly to the ground. Touching his feet to the grass, he hopped off and walked toward her, "What brings you around here this time of night?" Usually he was the only person that was ever out here this late.

I took off my head phones and stuffed it in my pocket. "I could ask you the same. For some reason my music isn't complete without a starry sky," I laugh lightly.

Draven chuckled, looking to his broom, "Neither is my broom-riding." He nodded, sticking a hand out to the girl, "Draven Slayter." Drave introduced himself.

"Isabella Parker," I smile and shake his hand. "Its a pleasure Draven. What house?"

"Ravenclaw, seventh year." He replied, shaking her hand and letting it slip back down to his side, "And you?"

"Slytherin, seventh year as well. Yet another Ravenclaw. This place is full of them. I've only met one Hufflepuff. Its like their hiding or something."

"I have to say that I agree with you there. They must like to keep to themselves or something." Draven chuckled and shook the hair out of his eyes.

"Do you ride a lot?" I ask, gesturing to his broom.

"I'm out here on most nights," Draven explained, "Only because I don't like to practice when everyone else is crowding the sky. It makes me feel like I'm gonna run into somebody."

I nodded in agreement. "I'm not on the team though," I shrug. "I watch quidditch but I can't play it."

"Oh, well I'm not on the team either. But you would be surprised how many people come out here and just practice, Quidditch team or not." Draven explained to her, "I just like to fly around when nobody's out here. Makes for a helluva lot of quiet." He grinned.

"I don't like the quiet," I laugh. "Thats where my music comes in. I can't live without it. You pick a perfect time to come out here though."

Draven nodded his head, agreeing to that statement, "I sing in my mind." He laughed, then realized how stupid that sounded, "I'm not crazy though, I can promise you that."

"I'll have to make that opinion later," I laugh lightly. "Whats your favorite band?"

Drave laughed at her comment, "Goodness, it's nearly impossible for me to choose favorites. I listen to so many..." He shook his head, not even knowing how he could answer that question, "What about you? Do you have a favorite?"

"Its very hard to choose. I don't really know any bands in the wizarding world..." I admitted. "Its between My Chemical Romance or Silverstein," I shrug.

"Both excellent bands." He nodded, chuckling a bit, "And I'm with you on that first statement. Never heard of or listened to any wizarding bands."

He shrugged and set himself down in the grass, "Alright I suppose. And how goes things for you?" Draven asked, laying down in the grass and looking up toward the sky.

He made a quick nod of the head. "Yeah," Draven lifted his head, settling his eyes on the stars, "That's why I like to come out here a lot. Sky's nice to look at."

I laughed, "I know what you mean, but sometimes you just have to think about things," I shrug. "Besides I wouldn't expect that from a Ravenclaw."

"Smart is a matter of opinion, my dear." Draven said seriously, then busted out laughing at his own comment, "Are you kidding me? I've met tons of unordinary people. Well, kinna-sorta..."

"I haven't. I'm slightly new to the school anyway. So far the people I've met are just plain... They have no imagination or sense of humor at all. I said I liked brownies and they sort of stared at me funny." I laugh.
